Fishing takes place aboard our 30' Seaswirl Striper, a spacious and exceptionally stable vessel designed for comfort in open-ocean conditions. With a wide 10'6" beam and room for up to eight (8) guests, there's plenty of space to fish comfortably without feeling crowded. Powered by twin 250 HP Suzuki engines, the boat offers a smooth, quiet ride, allowing you to focus on what matters most—finding and catching fish.
Our waters offer opportunities to target several species of Pacific salmon throughout the year. Chinook salmon (King, Spring, or Tyee) are the primary target and can be found in local waters for much of the season. Coho salmon arrive later in the summer, while Pink, Chum, and Sockeye salmon may also be available depending on annual returns and run timing. Your captain continuously monitors fishing conditions and will use the most productive techniques to maximize your chances of success.
All rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing gear are provided. At the end of the day, we'll clean your catch so it's ready to take home and enjoy. Fresh water is available on board, and you're welcome to bring additional drinks and snacks.
We depart from the dock in Britannia Beach, pickups at other locations can be accommodated for additional travel fee.

Wir hatten richtig den Ausflug genossen. Haben Forellen geangelt, leider keinen Lachs, aber so ist die Batur. Wir können und würden das zu jederzeit nochmal machbe .

Even though it rained all day, we had the vest time pulling in one after the other of healthy salmon. catch and reslease but a memory we will not forget.

4 Hour Trip – Afternoon on July 15, 2025 • 4 adultsOur family of four had an afternoon fishing trip with Ryan. The boat was beautiful and well kitted out with gear to catch big fish. We had two big Chinook salmon reeled in but lost them near the boat but it made my son happy to make "the catch". We did spend about two hours without bites but it was a beautiful day in the sound so we didn't mind. My other son ended up catching a pink salmon weighing in at 7 5 lbs and Ryan fileted it for us to take home and eat. Great day overall and the kids had fun. Thanks Ryan!

Captain Ryan has spent his whole life in the Sea to Sky Corridor as well as the west coast of Vancouver Island and has more than 20 years of expertise navigating the waters of Howe Sound, Barkley Sound, and offshore waters beyond. He knows a lot about the boat and its capabilities, as well as the weather, topography, and fish locations.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
