Merrell Fishing Company
Merrell Fishing Company is located in Jacksonville and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. Capt. Brennan has over 30 years of fishing in the local waters and is eager to take you offshore and help you catch fish.
Capt. Brennan will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 11-hour trips, mainly fishing for Snapper, Dolphin, Amberjack, Grouper, Triggerfish, and Tuna, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 29’ SeaVee boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.
Note: When running a 4-hour trip, the captain sometimes has the capacity to run a second trip during the morning or most likely the afternoon. He occasionally will offer a discounted 4-hour trip to fill the day at the price of $200 . Make sure to contact the captain about the details if you’re interested.
