Mike fishes Lake Michigan for salmon and trout as well as the Detroit River and Lake Erie for walleye. Whether you want to sit back and relax or rig the rods, you'll have a great day enjoying a world-class fishery!
Your adventure starts on a 21' Starcraft Fishmaster 210 aluminum fishing boat. This comfortable and reliable vessel sits up to 5 guests and runs on a 200 HP Yamaha four stroke outboard. For navigation, you'll find modern GPS, a radio, and fishfinder electronics. The boat has a wireless trolling motor, downriggers, a livewell, and a bucket toilet.
You get to keep the fish you catch and take it home to eat! You're also more than welcome to bring kids on your trip.
Capt. Mike will supply you with rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures, and will clean and bag your catch as well. You should only bring your fishing license, food, and drinks.

Captain Mike did a fantastic job from the Moment he met us at the dock to the moment he dropped us off. He did a great job of working with my 9 year old Grandson, showing him the ropes of Detroit River fishing. Captain Mike adjusted fishing tactics on the fly to adjust for changing water and weather conditions conditions which allowed us to “bring home dinner” for 2 families. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to have a great day fishing. Richard

I booked a salmon trip for my dad and I through Mike. I must add this was my first charter also note my first time fishing Lake Michigan. The weather wasn’t exactly your fair weather conditions so Mike offered a refund or to reschedule. My Father and I still had hopes of going. So Mike made it happen. Even with the weather not being on our side, Mike had zero problems with getting on fish in no time! We had a blast! Overall I refer Mike to anyone out there looking to have a great time on the water and catch some fish!

I grew up in a fishing family. My dad liked to creek fish for Trout. That was too buggy and brushy for me, so I always stuck to fishing with my grandpa on the open water. I was an elementary teacher and when I became a principal, I moved to Manistee, Michigan, located on the shore of Lake Michigan. Once I was there, I caught the big water bug and couldn't stop!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
