- I grew up in a fishing family. My dad liked to creek fish for Trout. That was too buggy and brushy for me, so I always stuck to fishing with my grandpa on the open water. I was an elementary teacher and when I became a principal, I moved to Manistee, Michigan, located on the shore of Lake Michigan. Once I was there, I caught the big water bug and couldn't stop!
- Techniques
- I like to take people out fishing, show them how to do it and let them get into it as much or as little as they want. I've had groups who like to do everything and groups who just want to reel the fish into the boat. Unless we are in the river jigging for walleye, we will probably be trolling the open water!
