We picked a tough day to fish. Rough waters and a transition time between fishing seasons. Captain put us on some nice size top-water fish and tried really hard to help us catch some larger bottom fish. Turns out we didn’t catch any huge fish, but the trip was still a blast. In spite of the rough seas, we never felt sick or at risk. The captain and first mate were very helpful in helping us with our lines and getting the fish into the boat. They had top-notch fishing equipment and really seemed to know their way around the waters. Boat was clean and refreshments were provided.

If I had to nit-pick a critique (and this is me trying really hard to find something to complain about…we had an awesome day), we felt a little rushed off the boat at the end and forgot to take pictures of our fish and family. But that was probably our own fault…I’m sure Captain and crew would’ve stayed as long as we wanted.

We didn’t want to keep our fish (we were there more for sport than food), so I can’t comment on how they handle cleaning and packaging fish after the trip (although Captain offered several times to do so for us).

I would go out with this company again. I’d love to do a longer, full day with them when the weather is better and in the middle of a season. I’d also love to see what they could do on some of the inner-waters.

The crew knew exactly what we were targeting and did an excellent job getting on fish. The Captain, mate, and “mate in training” were all very helpful and we look forward to working with the entire crew again. Top notch interaction with the kids in our group, encouraging them to jump in and be as involved as they wanted to be. Very comfortable setting…we will definitely be going out with them again.

I booked a river fishing trip a month ahead for myself and my 3 sons.  Capt. Justin was kind enough to contact me a couple of weeks ahead of time to confirm everything and get our input on what type of fishing we wanted to do.  Justin contacted me the day prior and notified me that the weather would be bad for my scheduled day and asked if I was flexible to change for a better weather day several days later, which I was.  Capt. Justin will find you fish; he advised us that fishing the river (intercoastal) wasn’t as productive as the ocean plus he wanted the boys to catch bigger fish.  Capt. Justin upgraded our trip at no extra cost to offshore trolling for Spanish mackerel and other large fish.  Justin was flexible and accommodated us when we requested to stay out for an extra hour, for a fair price.  The boat was clean and full of ice.  We caught fish and had a great time, Capt Justin, will be my go to for future trips.  Shout out to Capt. Scott and first mate Lia.

I would recommend Captain J. Great crew and fun to fish with! They work really hard to make sure you have a good time! If you need fish mounts, they can help with that too! We will be using Captain J again! First mate Leah was amazing and working hard with the two teen boys( 13/15) she made sure they was always had bait, helped hold the poles when reeling in their fish! Super clean / nice boat! Great equipment! We can’t say enough great things about our trip!

10/10 Capt Justin delivered as promised. He was honest and about our trip and said today was not the day for the fish we wanted to catch so instead of just taking us on a boat ride he rescheduled when he knew he could deliver the catch we wanted. And when we went back out he put us right in the fish when he said he was goin to. Would not use anyone else down there. He is lookin out for your experience before the dollar. Will use him next year when my son goes back down.
