Reel Addiction is a family-owned business that caters to everyone from entry-level fishermen to expert anglers. We provide an enjoyable and fun fishing experience. We love teaching you fishing techniques and assisting you with each catch. Kids are always put first on Reel Addiction’s trips! We can also accommodate up to 4 wheelchairs!
We target Snook, Trout, Redfish, Tarpon, Permit, Black Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, and more. You’re free to keep the fish you catch and take it home to enjoy delicious meals with your family or friends. If you choose to up grade your trip to a near shore it is 150$ more for a 4 hour and 200$ more for a 6 hour
We provide all the rods, reels, tackle, fly fishing gear, live bait, lures, and licenses. At the end of the trip, we clean and bag your catch, if you decide to keep it. The only things you should bring are the food and drinks of your choice.
Your day will start on our brand new 25 c hawk saltwater fishing boat that can fit up to 6 guests. It’s powered by a 300 HP 2024Suzuki engine. Apart from a modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio navigation gear, it’s also equipped with a wireless trolling motor and a livewell.

Jon was also very personable and engaging. We caught about 25 fish in 4 hours and had an excellent time. Definitely would recommend Reel Addiction with Captain Jon in Sarasota.

4 Hour Trip (2:30 PM) on March 31, 2023 • 3 adultsMy grandson was visiting from Indiana, and this fishing trip was to be the highlight of his Spring Break. This would be his first time to fish. The morning of our charter, the captain cancelled! As I scrambled to find an alternative, I found Reel Addiction. The crew was wonderful with our group of novice fishermen. They helped my 13-year-old learn the ropes, and they encouraged him to be more independent with each catch. He ended up catching 6 fish and had a great time! We really appreciate their flexibility and care to be sure we all had a good time!

Absolutely amazing day with Captain Chris! We spent our final day in Florida out on the water with Chris, and it was the perfect ending to our holiday. He got on brilliantly with every member of our family and tailored the experience to suit each of us individually. His knowledge of the local area was exceptional, and he knew exactly where to take us to get plenty of bites on the line. We even managed to fit in some dolphin spotting, which made the head of the family—my wife—especially happy and brought her first trip to the US to a perfect close! Lots of fish, plenty of friendly conversation and smiles all around. We couldn’t recommend Captain Chris highly enough!
Excellent all the way around until we went to pay over the phone with the owner Captain Jason who didn't think the tip was adequate, despite tipping nearly 20% plus additional on card and a cash tip of additional 5+%. The tip reflected a great experience and to get pushed to tip more made the last part of our trip the most regrettable. Would I do it again? Yes, but I would pay cash and avoid talking to Captain Jason.
nothing was said on the phone about cash being involed in the tip. you wanted to give him 120$ which is 18%. if you were clear when i asked if you were going to tip cash or on the card there would have been no comfuision. at any rate if you would like refunded for cash that was given i would be happy to so
I have taken many trips off the cost of Florida. This by far was the best experience. They are real fishermen who know how to catch fish. It is a no brainer, go with them.

it was a perfect day. The captain was experienced the knew all of the sweet spots great music. I will definitely do it again.
