Step aboard San Diego's premier 6-pack charter to have their his trusted crew put you onto fish no matter what! Three decades of experience in SD and Mexican fisheries have taught these die-hard anglers all about the seasonal species and hot spots of these waters.

No matter what kind of fishing trip you're looking for, The Long Run is at your disposal. She's a 40' Hershine boat that's got plenty of room for up to 6 anglers to be fishing in comfort. This is a spacious vessel with a pair of private heads, an outfitted kitchen, an air-conditioned cabin, and more.

On shorter trips, you can expect to target Barracuda, Dorado, Yellowtail or bottom fish such as Lingcod, Sand Bass, Rockfish, and Halibut. Overnight trips will take you out for Yellowfin, Bluefin and Albacore Tuna, Dorado, Yellowtail, Marlin, and more. During shorter trips, you can also leave some lobster hoops in pristine locations when the season is open.

All the fishing equipment, including bait, is provided for your convenience – all you need to do is get that daily license and some food and beverages and start bagging fish! For maximum comfort, bring a pair of polarized sunglasses and get ready to have some fun.

worth the trip!!
Half day inshore on August 30, 20264 adults

We did a 5 hour trip with captain Ross and deckhand Joe. The trip our group had was awesome. Captain Ross was fantastic and so was his deckhand Joe. They put us right on the fish within 30 min of being on the water. We had multiple rods going off at the same time on multiple occasions. I would recommend using long run sports fishing and we will be booking a longer trip very shortly. 5 stars isn’t enough for these guys. They made the entire trip worth every penny and then some!

Family Fishing Trip to Remember!
Half Day inshore on September 5, 20265 adults1 child

Sergio and Captain Mike were awesome! They put our family right on the Bonito and made our trip an absolute blast. With six of us onboard, everything felt safe, comfortable, and fun from start to finish. Great crew, great fishing, and an experience that will now be tradition. Highly recommend!

Awesome Trip
Half day inshore on July 26, 20263 adults

I went out with my two friends and we had the best fishing trip ever. Captain Jason and his son Tyler were super helpful and hands on the entire time. They answered all of our questions and made sure we all felt confident in what we were doing. Ended up catching about 15 total between the two of us. If you don’t book with them, you’re missing out!!

Thank you so much, Rita! It means a lot that you chose to spend your day with us. We’re thrilled Captain Jason and Tyler made you feel comfortable and confident while helping you land so many fish! Hearing that you had “the best fishing trip ever” absolutely made our day. We can’t wait to have you back on board for another adventure!

I've been fishing San Diego waters since 1981. I have been a fishing nut for the last 40 years and operating charters for 26 of those years. I take pride in showing fishermen and women of all ages and skill levels the best day they've had, fishing or otherwise. I believe happy clients are the cornerstone of a thriving charter operation.
