Captain Taylor Knight is one of the few female guides providing year-round fishing adventures for people of all abilities. Fishing experience is not required. Let’s go fishing and make great memories on the water!
Captain Taylor will do her best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 6 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Salmon, Sturgeon, Steelhead, Kokanee, and Crab, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, and trolling. Depending on the species, you may keep your catch.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 20’ FishRite aluminum fishing boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers, including kids. Usually, the boat is open but in the cold and rainy months, a soft top, sides and heater can be added to keep warm and out of the rain.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price, as well as lures. This way you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time and bring your snacks and drinks. Captain Taylor will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. Alcohol is allowed in moderation during the trip, being drunk on a boat puts everyone at risk. There will be no alcohol allowed on Bouy 10 trips.

We had a wonderful trip with Captain Taylor! She started off the trip by ensuring we knew exactly what equipment we were using and how to use it. She made sure to point out fish on the fish finder and kept us engaged while waiting for the fish to bite. We were able to catch two massive salmon and she filleted them so they were ready to cook without any other preparation needed. Overall we had an amazing trip and will definitely be using Captain Taylor in the future.
A huge plus is that she has a small toilet on board for the women as well as very comfortable seats in her boat.

I booked a salmon/sturgeon trip with my 10 yr old. Captain Taylor was great. We knew going into the trip that the salmon catch was off for spring 2023, as catch counts were really low. But Taylor worked hard and got us hooked up with a springer (unfortunately we weren’t able to land it). We switched gears to sturgeon, which was amazing. She got us in the fish for some non-stop action - my son was amazed. Taylor was prepared, super knowledgeable, had great tackle, and was a wonderful conversationalist. All in all, a really memorable experience. Would definitely book with Taylor again.

It has been years since I have fished for springers, feeling a little rusty, I stepped onto Taylor’s boat that early am….. when I stepped off her boat that afternoon, I was filled with springer confidence and ready to head back out! Taylor took the time to answer my questions, share her tips, keep our bait fresh on the lines and some great laughs along the way. We even had a chance to switch out bait and reel in some sturgeon!!! It was an epic day in the water with Taylor! She even took the extra steps to brew up some hot beverages while we kept our lines tight! Her knowledge on the water and handling of the boat made it feel like she never skipped a day out on the river! I would highly recommend her services …. So grab a friend and book your trip! I know we will be!!
