Join us on the rich, productive waters off Sooke for an unforgettable West Coast fishing experience. We target a wide range of species including Chinook, coho, and pink salmon, powerful halibut, hard fighting lingcod, and delicious Dungeness crab. Depending on the season and conditions, your trip may include a mix of trolling, bottom fishing, and drifting to give you the best chance at success.

Our trips are family-friendly, so bring the whole crew along for a safe, fun day on the ocean. Any fish caught within legal limits is yours to keep, cleaned and ready to take home. Before boarding, please make sure you have a valid BC tidal fishing license which can be found online.

You'll fish aboard a 22" Hewescraft aluminum boat, with a heated cabin comfortably accommodating up to 5 guests. An onboard toilet adds extra convenience so you can focus on enjoying the day. All fishing gear and tackle included as well as complimentary light snacks and bottled water.

At the helm is Captain Don, a Canadian Navy Veteran and lifelong fishing enthusiast with over 20 years of experience navigating and fishing these local waters. His knowledge, professionalism, and passion ensure a safe trip and the best opportunity to hook onto something memorable. After serving as the lead guide for Rising Tide Coastal Adventures, Don has now launched his own venture with Southern Swell Coastal Adventures.
