Spend the day with Blue Tales Fishing Charters and find out what the fishing in North Miami is all about! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Samuel can tell you all about the local fishery.
These waters are known for Amberjack, Skipjack, Cero Mackerel, Great Barracuda, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Samuel also offers kite fishing.
Trips with Blue Tales Fishing Charters are kid-friendly, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be dropping lines from a 39' SeaVee center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is not allowed.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Blue Tales Fishing Charters.
