Set’n Hooks is a chartered fishing guide service located in Mooresville, NC and offers to show you a memorable time on Lake Norman. Kid-friendly!!!!
Capt. Will will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 6-hour trips, mainly fishing for Striped bass, Hybrid Striped Bass, Perch, Catfish, Bass, and Crappie, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a Sun Tracker Fishin’ Barge 22 XP3 Tri-toon boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with two livewells and a wireless trolling motor with gps capabilities, along with up-to-date electronics. Including LIVE SONAR!!!
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. Be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions.
Things to remember: NO ALCOHOL, wear appropriate clothing, and be ready to have a great time!

Stand Out Trip
Our Captain arrived well ahead of the meeting time to catch live bait fish for our trip. He was very personable and attentive to any need we had. I have never had someone bait my hook and handle the fish but it is pretty nice. We had good discussion the whole 4 hour trip. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone, young or old. The last point is the boat; very comfortable and easy to maneuver within. Thanks for a memorable morning.

WOW! Captain Will put us on the fish!
We were four women celebrating a friends fishing weekend. We caught more than 150 fish in less than 4 hours! Our arms were hurting. We caught primarily Perch and Bass. The Captain was very attentive with us and really knew his stuff. We loved every minute of our charter!

Caught monster bass all morning!!
Captain Will did an amazing job putting us on the fish all day. My son caught several monster bass and 1 large mouth that was almost 4 pounds. Great Captain, comfortable Boat for the entire Family, and Will was like hanging out with someone I’ve known for years. Would definitely recommend and will use again when we’re in the area. Great trip
What a great time with Will on Lake Norman. Very knowledgeable and he was very much prepared getting to the lake hours before us to catch live bait. Good equipment and this Captain kept us on the fish the whole trip. Kept 20 fish and recommend others use him. I definitely will be booking him again. Thanks Will Price for a great time

This was a fun and educational fishing trip with my son to celebrate the end of summer and beginning of 4th grade. We learned about the fish we were catching, different lures/bait, and how weather, time of day, and time of year can impact what and how much you catch. Looking forward to doing it again!
