Whether this is your first or 50. charter fishing excursion, Captain Rob and his crew want it to be one you’ll be talking about for years. You’ll enjoy a fun and relaxed but professional atmosphere. The crew welcomes children, families, small groups, and business travelers alike, and prides itself in delivering 100% satisfaction to its guests on every trip.

Capt. Rob will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 5-hour to 2-day trips, mainly fishing for King Mackerel, Snapper, Dolphin, Cobia, Shark, and Wahoo, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, and big game fishing.

Hop aboard the captain’s 48' Ocean Yachts sport fisher and enjoy the amenities and comfort she has to offer. The boat can safely take up to 6 anglers and comes with a toilet, ac, and an ice-box.

Huntress Sport Fishing has got federal reef fish as well as pelagic permits for fishing past the 9-mile state water lines.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.
Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with snacks and drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

Having worked many as a deckhand, I found this crew to be truly dedicated to lookinf after the folks on board and going above and beyond, compared to other crews I have been around on the Texas coast. Yes, my standards are high, going back to the way I was raised going by the golden rule, treat people the same way that you would want to be treated. Being an NCO in the U.S.Army during the Viet Nam Era helps a person to develop higher standards.

Great Fishing and Great Boat!

We had the best time fishing on this boat. We had a family with kids, parents, and grandparents. The crew was incredibly accommodating for all of us. We caught our limit on Red Snapper and had a great time! The cabin of the boat was comfortable and a nice break from the sun! Both kids even took a short nap in the cabin when they were worn out.

Amazing trip!

8 Hour Trip on August 1, 2025 • 6 adults

We had a great time with captain Matt and first mate Josh. They worked hard for us all day long. Got us on King Mackerel early and then Red Snapper the rest of the day! Oh and some vermillion too. We all limited out on nice size Snapper! Could not have asked for a better day!

Very good day on the water.

Boat was clean. Crew was very helpful. We did catch the fish we wanted. We limited on snapper. Crew went out of their way to put us on fish. I would recommend boat and crew.
