Capt. Ira will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 5 to 10-hour trips as well as overnight and custom trips mainly fishing for Haddock, Tuna, and Cod, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, fly fishing, big game fishing, kite fishing, and spinning. As seen on the Wicked Tuna show, Capt. Ira delivers the goods!
Your fishing adventure starts on a 35' Harris boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a toilet and an ice-box.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with snacks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

Summer special !!!! on September 5, 2026 • 3 adultsI got sea sick wihin an hour on a 6 hour trip, first mate made sure I had a clean bucket continued to check up on me and asked if I needed anything. We didn't catch large fish although we got a chance to see a sunfish and shark. Most of our catches were small, the seagulls had a fest..lol. Maybe try dramamine the night before and day of for first timers. Captain Ira moved us multiple times with hope of a great experience unfortunately there wasn't any big bites. Ira and Erica were great host accommodating, educational and insightful with thier knowledge and well as experience. Check and verify numerous times that your booking date is accurate.😆

4 hour afternoon Striped Bass on June 17, 2026 • 3 adultsI took my 12 year old son and his friend out for a 4 hour trip. We hooked up with several species of fish including Pollock, Cod, Sculpin and a 40'' Striper. Captain Ira knew every spot and had great gear, was on time and made the whole experience a great time for the boys and myself. We also caught a ton of Mackerel which we used at bait. The weather was also ideal which made the whole experience even better. A great combination of experience, knowledge and of course landing fish made it a wonderful trip.

Captain Ira has a great attitude, knows these waters inside and out, and is super easygoing. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great day on the water and would absolutely book another charter with him!

Very personable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. And even though it was still early in the fishing season the day was well worth it, we caught plenty to keep us busy for the entire way. Boys were tired by the end of the 8 hours. Captain and mate were friendly and focused. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get out fishing with friends or family. Probably not the best for young kids.

Summer special !!!! on June 6, 2026 • 4 adults • 1 childHad an awesome trip! My 7- and 14-year-old both had a blast catching pollock and mackerel, and the highlight was landing a 20+ lb striped bass. We found the fish early and stayed on them all day, which made for nonstop action. Great time on the water and lots of happy memories. We’ll definitely be back!

Erica and Ira are wnderful. Frendly, helpful, shared stories. I need to use a cane for balance and they met all my mobility needs with ease and so helpful. Lots of explanations of what were were doing and seeing. We had lots of rsin ,but it did not matter. Next time we will do a longer trip and go out further to see a whale and hopefull sharks. HIGHLY recomend you book now as they fll up for the entire summer.

An awesome day of fishing off Jeffreys Ledge with Capt. Ira and Erica. We kicked things off with a massive thresher shark, battled another giant shortly after, and then had nonstop bottom action reeling in squid, whiting, cod, haddock, mackerel, and pollock. Fantastic crew and an unforgettable day on the water.
