On these trips, it's common to use live bait for big fish and using light or heavy tackle. I Captain Jeremy can adapt to any level of fisherman. I love teaching how to fish and equally love putting a seasoned fisherman on his personal best.
Capt. Jeremy welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Child-sized life vests are available, or otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 24' cuddy/Downeaster with space for 5-6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. With over 40 years of experience fishing Boston, I will put you on the fish.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included; we will be catching our own live bait .
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. I provide Bottled water on all trips

I booked this as a Father’s Day gift for my husband and our 12-year-old son, and it couldn’t have been a better experience! Captain Jeremy was absolutely amazing, especially with my son. He was patient, engaging, knowledgeable, and made sure they had a great time out on the water. They each caught a huge fish—one measured 35 inches and the other 33 inches, which made for an unforgettable day! Of course, everyone always hopes to catch more fish, but my husband said it was certainly no fault of the captain. Captain Jeremy worked hard the entire trip, stayed engaged, and did everything he could to put them on the fish. His experience and dedication really showed. To top it all off, they had beautiful weather, and they even got to see the Tall Ships arriving in Boston, which made the day even more special. We will definitely be booking another trip with Captain Jeremy in the future. We can’t recommend him highly enough! thank you, captain Jeremy!!
Thank you , Both your husband and son were a joy to have on the boat. I wish they caught more as well. But 2 big ones on an afternoon Trip is still good . We we're very limited to fishing locations due to the tall ships .
Captain Jeremy provided exceptional service from the moment I messaged him. He was very friendly, gave us a good idea of what to expect, and arranged for a convenient pickup location near our hotel. We tried a handful of different spots looking for flounder and cod. The fishing was slow, but we were in town early in the year, before the season heats up (could start any day now). Don’t think any other charters were out at all. Captain Jeremy was working hard for us, trying several techniques and spots. He also provided an impressive guided tour of Boston. We caught a handful of skate and a couple of crabs, and overall had a great time! Captain Jeremy also set us up with a restaurant that would cook our skate wings for us, and dropped us off at the nearest dock. Will 100% fish with Captain Jeremy again next time we’re in town and would highly recommend him to anyone!
Captain and deckhand we're professional, knowledgable and incredibly accomodating. The best charter boat service i hired. I flew in from Missouri and didnt know one captain from the other. If you're from out of state Captain Jeremey is the guy to book. Being from out of state we needed a cooler to keep our snakcs and drinks cold and the crew provided that for us.
So, upfront will state that we didn't catch any fish. Weather has been unusually cool this spring resulting in atypically cold water temperature. Despite that, we had a very enjoyable trip. Captain Jeremy friendly and knowledgeable while adding local color. Very capable and attentive to inexperienced anglers. All equipment was in good order, which is not the case with some charters. I'll book with him next time we're in town. Great captain, great guy, just not able to control weather or fish.
my dad and i booked a trip with Captain Jeremy for the 4th and couldnt have been happier with how it went! Captain Jeremy was awesome, put us right on the fish and we caught massive striped bass! memories will last a lifetime and we’ll certainly book with him again next time my dad is in town.
