Capt. Pat was every thing you want in a guide! He worked hard to find fish and damn did he find fish. We hooked up so many times we lost count. If we had not been robbed multiple times by seals we would have boated twice as many large Stripers. That being said, we boated 3 Stripers 40” plus one, of which one was 47”. Capt. was friendly, personable and great with my 7 year old grandson. His boat was clean and organized. I especially appreciated the boat high gunnels with an active 7 year old on board. All in all an amazing expirence, with memories for a life time. Thanks Captain

Afternoon trip produced zero fish. Wasn't that important to me as was beautiful day and got to spend the day with my kids and brother. Captain Pat gave us a couple lobsters from his traps and offered us night trip, free of charge. My brother, son, and I decided to take him up on offer and came back a few hours later. Once they started biting, we were able to reel in 11 stripers. Was a long day and just spending time with family was more important. Captain Pat made the day so enjoyable with the camaraderie and banter, it felt like he's been part of our family for years. Without a doubt, I highly recommend booking a charter with Pat and look forward to booking a trip in the future

Captain Patrick has an infectious enthusiasm about fishing. He loves his work and sharing the joy with his clients! His boat was clean and efficiently configured. He used his fish finder to good effect, moving us around various spots until we found a huge school of stripers just offshore. No keepers, but the 2 of us landed 3 stripers each ranging from 35-42 inches using live eels. Easy pick up and drop off at Fan Pier in the Seaport District. The sunset was gorgeous, and there were very few boats fishing after the sun went down. Would recommend Captain Patrick very highly and look forward to going out with him again in the future.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Strike Zone Charters and Captain Patrick! We booked a four-hour morning charter to celebrate my birthday while my two nephews were visiting me in Boston and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of their entire trip…& hands down the best birthday morning I could have asked for!!! Both of my nephews left the boat having caught the biggest fish of their lives, including an incredible 38-inch striped bass! Watching their excitement as they reeled in those fish was something I will never forget. This was the kind of morning these boys will still be talking about years from now. Captain Patrick was absolutely fabulous from beginning to end. He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely at home on the boat from the moment we arrived. He was wonderful with the boys, kept things fun and exciting, and made sure everyone had a great experience. The fishing was unforgettable, the Boston Harbor views were beautiful, and we honestly loved every single second of our four hours with Strike Zone. My husband and 15-year-old son recently went on a 5-hour striped bass charter with Captain Patrick, and they had an outstanding experience. They caught over a dozen bass and had an absolute blast from start to finish. The boat was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, which made the trip even more enjoyable. They've been on several fishing charters over the years, and both agreed that this was one of the best. Captain Patrick was knowledgeable, professional, and worked hard to make sure they had a successful and memorable day on the water. Every April, I look forward to my annual haddock trip with Capt. Pat, a tradition that consistently delivers both a great experience and an impressive catch. He fillets the fish for us and bags them up, so they are ready to cook as soon as we get home. Given the variable ocean conditions early in the season, trips are not always available for immediate booking. For those interested in targeting haddock this time of year, it’s best to reach out in advance with your availability. Capt. Pat closely monitors the marine forecast and coordinates trips accordingly to ensure the safest and most productive outings. This year’s trip was another success, with haddock up to 28”, along with cod, cusk, and redfish. A well executed day on the water and a reminder of why this trip remains a highlight each season.

Captain Patrick is a fisherman's fisherman, he's in it for the love of the game. My Dad and brother came up for a visit and we met up with captain Patrick and hit it off sharing fishing stories. Started off catching mackerel (another experience I've been wanting to do) to use for bait but he accommodated our request to start off with artificials. We got lucky and caught a couple of slot keepers which Pat filleted cleanly and setup the freezer for dinners to come. Thank you Captain for a memorable time, we fucking loved it.

On a night when the bite was slow, Patrick put in extra effort to get us on the fish. He let us stay out two hours past our scheduled time, and we managed to land two 36 inch bass. He does everything he can to provide a fun and comfortable experience and I would absolutely book with him again.

The Captain was amazing and explained how to fish , what to look for and got us on the fish. He had amazing knowledge of the Harbor and knew most of the other boats and captains on the water . He worked so hard to make this trip a positive experience for my son and I. I will definitely get back on his boat next time we come to Boston and recommend you try your best to do the same . Great guy , great equipment and boat .

Captain Pat is an absolute professional who gave our family an experience they will never forget. The entire trip was great! We started by catching bait fish and were landing monster striped bass in no time. As the sun rose with Boston Harbor and the city skyline as the backdrop, it was a beautiful way to make memories with our family. Thank you, Pat! We will see you again!
