Myself and three friends fished on a Saturday morning with Captain Ryan and although the day was choppy we decided to go on his advice and hit some structure in the intercoastal waterway. We caught a fair amount of varied species of fish and had a great time. Although the fishing could’ve been better, that was certainly not Ryan‘s fault and he did his best to put us on as many fish as possible. I would highly recommend him because he was very conversational when needed and low-key.  He is not one of these old crotchety guys that you see from time to time that still guide and should’ve hung it up years ago. I think he would be a great guide also with anybody that has younger children because he was very patient and I didn’t hear him use any foul language.  I would highly recommend this guide and I’ll be booking him in the future for my own family as well as another guy’s trip.

I’ve been on many fishing trips and some guides are just going through the motions. Yeah, u catch fish but some guides can be unpleasant to be around. Captain Ryan was working the entire time to help us get fish.  He went above and beyond to make it a great experience. He was easy to work with and made sure we were happy. He was also very enjoyable to be around. Great job Captain.

Captain Ryan went out of his way to make sure we had a memorable trip. It was dads first time on a boat fishing and he had a blast. Capt Ryan took us to a different bay out of his way so we had a better chance of catching fish even though he didn’t have to. He was fast in making sure we maximized out time with lines in the water. Will definitely be calling him again! A+

Our conditions were very challenging (it had rained the night before so the fish couldn’t see well, and the weather was cold so the fish were sluggish), but captain Ryan found some good spots to fish and we got a redfish that was too big to keep and a lot of catfish.  Most other boats that we heard about that day only got a couple of catfish.

Ryan had a lot of stories and kept us entertained.

Capt Ryan was on time and had everything we needed to enjoy a few hours fishing. Took the whole family including my 3 kids who have never been on the bay to fish before. Capt Ryan made sure we had tight lines and answered all of the questions my kids and I had about fishing in the area. Thanks again Capt Ryan, we look forward to seeing you next year!
