This crew will do its best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 2 to 4-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Flounder, Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, and Speckled Trout, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 23' Hanson boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with an ice-box and a wireless trolling motor.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with snacks and drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

5 Stars in all categories! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Captain Ryan of 30A Shallow Water Guide Service was great. He was communicative throughout the booking and very knowledgeable of the local Bay and surrounding backwaters. He was very friendly and attentive to our family of 4, keeping the lines baited and in the water. Spanish mackeral was the fish of the day for us and there were plenty to be had. Pickup and drop off were seamless, and we went home with a nice bag of cleaned fish for tacos. Our family had a blast and wouldn’t even bother looking around for any other charter the next time we are looking to book a trip!

Inland Speckled Trout Trip
4 Hour Trip – Inshore/Bay (AM) on June 4, 2025 • 4 adults
Had a great 4 hour morning fish with Captain Ryan. Asked for an inland trout trip with my sons and son-in-law and he produced. We fished the West Bay near Panama City as that is where the action was hotter. We caught 40+ fish, but only 4 were over the 15” slot requirement.
Directions were excellent and he was waiting at the boat launch when we arrived. He knows the bays well and moved us around to avoid the changing winds; all of his spots produced.
I would definitely recommend Captain Ryan and would use him again if I am back on 30A.

2 Hour Trip – Kids on July 31, 2025 • 3 adults • 3 children
Two adults took four kids out with Captain Ryan. He took is right out to a hot spot and we had some fish on within five minutes. Yes, we got lucky with some good fishing but he knew right where to go in West Bay. He also managed to keep all six of our hooks with fresh live bait and out in the water without overlapping too much, a tough thing to do with the wind. We had a lady fish on at one point, tangling us all up in knots but he was able to get us back in action in a few minutes. Great trip, everything worked well, highly recommend!

The Perfect Fishing Trip For Sure
4 Hour Trip – Inshore/Bay (AM) on June 9, 2025 • 6 adults
Ryan was the perfect fishing guide and it also was the perfect trip for our group. He spent a full 4 hours leading our group to lots of fish!!! They caught bonnet head sharks, trout, lady fish, red fish, catfish and more and our group caught 20 plus fish a piece at least!!! We took home filleted fish and had a great blackened shark and trout fish taco meal tonight!! It was delicious !! He taught us so much about fish and he was hands on in every way!! Don’t hesitate booking a fishing trip with Ryan!!! He is the BEST!!
