Spend the day with 30A Sportfishing and see what's biting in Santa Rosa Beach!
Sheepshead, Pompano, King Mackerel, Ladyfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Red Snapper, Redfish, and more can be found in these waters, depending on the season. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized from Capt. Justin Jones.
Any fish within the legal limit is yours to take home. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home without any hassle. Now that's dinner!
You'll be casting lines from a 22' Pathfinder with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has a power pole, GPS trolling motor, Fishfinder, livewell, ice box, tower for sight fishing, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, which means all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Some essentials you'll want to bring are a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Your trip includes a few drinks on board.

Fun multi-generational fishing trip!

Justin went out of his way to accommodate our multi-generational family on an afternoon fishing trip! He worked hard to find a dock that made the boat accessible for the 70yr old...and was so patient with the 8, 10 and 12 yr olds! It was a great outing with a dozen fish caught (not all big enough to keep). Thank you Justin for going above and beyond!

Awesome trip! Captain Justin was great! It was a great father-son trip with my 9 year old son who loves fishing! He got his first redfish and was ecstatic! Early spring in the bay is sometimes difficult fishing, but Captain Justin came through for us. in addition to other fish we caught, we caught our limit of redfish (2) too!

Great first family fishing trip!

It was a really windy day but the weather didn’t stop us from catching fish. Captain Justin knew exactly where to go to maximize our fishing experience. Captain Justin was great with our 12 and 8 year old kids too. We caught 3 redfish (one was 20 inches long!), 3 catfish, and one sting ray. It was a fun adventure!

thanksgiving week fishing trip

we met with Captain Justin right after lunch at the dock loaded up and he took us to a good spot where we caught a lot of trout. after wearing the trout out for a while, we decided to try some red fishing over in the marsh. Red fishing in the bay is not that great. We did have two keepers but since that’s all we had, we went ahead and left them there what a great trip I would highly suggest Captain Justin if you’re gonna be in 30-A.
