Spend the day with 30A Sportfishing and see what’s biting in Santa Rosa Beach!
Sheepshead, Pompano, King Mackerel, Ladyfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Red Snapper, Redfish, and more can be found in these waters, depending on the season. You’ll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized from Capt. Justin Jones.
Any fish within the legal limit is yours to take home. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home without any hassle. Now that’s dinner!
You’ll be casting lines from a 22’ Pathfinder with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has a power pole, GPS trolling motor, Fishfinder, livewell, ice box, tower for sight fishing, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, which means all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Some essentials you’ll want to bring are a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Your trip includes a few drinks on board.

3 Hour Trip - Afternoon Bay Fishing
Big Catch!
We were visiting during a very windy week with overall poor fishing conditions. Captain Justin set our expectations but was determined to find us fish. After trying a few typically fruitful techniques with no luck, he tried something a bit different and within a few minutes my 9 year old experienced the fight of his life. He had hooked a 44” bull red fish which he fought for close to half an hour on medium light tackle. We successfully landed and released this beautiful red fish that made our trip. My son won’t soon forget that fish and hasn’t stopped talking about it since! Captain Justin was eager to share knowledge and impart his love for fishing. I’d definitely recommend him to others looking to find the fish.

Great trip!
I fished with my brother in law, nephews and sons and we had a fabulous trip. Justin worked hard to get us on fish and has a good network of captains sharing fish location. We did a four hour trip. I would absolutely fish with Justin again. The boat holds six but was a little tight with six adults on it.

3 Hour Trip - Afternoon Bay Fishing
Awesome trip - huge fish
Captain Justin was able to get us on the fish quick and made everything easy for me and 2 11 year olds. He clearly knows what he’s doing and seemed to have a sixth sense for where we should be when we were chasing a huge school of bull redfish. Great trip and definitely worth the money.

Outstanding Captain and experience!
Captain Justin was awesome! His knowledge of the Bay Area and where to go catch fish was beyond impressive, and we caught many fish because of his capabilities. He was very affable, instructive and highly accommodating for us. We will absolutely book with him again in the near future!
