Have fun catching fish and relax on the water with 30A Bay Guide Service. You’ll explore the inshore waters, flats, as well as the backcountry of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and visit the best spots these grounds have to offer. This will be possible thanks to Captain Marvin Glasgow, a skilled angler who eagerly awaits you to show you the beauties of fishing in this area.
You’ll start the trip on a restored 22’ Cape Horn bay boat. It can take up to 4 guests and is powered by a 225 HP Honda engine that can reach a maximum speed of 45 knots. The boat uses modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio systems for navigation, and has got a wireless trolling motor, livewell, and an ice-box.
There’s a great choice of species you can target, some of them including Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, Flounder, and more. The captain and you will catch them by spinning on light tackle. Kids are welcome to join the trip, so feel free to bring them along and together have a lovely family outing. As for the catch, you can choose whether you’ll keep it or release it.
Captain Marvin will supply you with everything you’ll ever need on your trip. This includes all the fishing gear, licenses, snacks, drinks, and even catch cleaning.

Half Day Trip – Bay Fishing (AM) on March 26, 2025
Our family had a great morning with Captain Marv. He communicated well and was ready to depart promptly at 8 am. He took us out to a few spots where we were able to catch quite a few Redfish and even some Spotted Seatrout. He was very attentive and helpful. We even saw a large gator! We took his recommendations for cooking up our catch for dinner and tasted great. Thanks for a fun morning!

Captain Marvin is great at putting you on fish and making sure you’re enjoying your time on the water. He is very helpful and patient and we went home with our limits of redfish!

Great Family Fishing Trip in 30A!
Half Day Trip – Bay Fishing (AM) on April 24, 2025
Captain Marvin took out my two young kids, wife, father and I on a half day cruise (4 hrs). He was awesome. Very knowledgeable and friendly, especially with the kids. Will definitely go back.

5 stars only because 6 isn’t an option. We had a great time with Marvin and would absolutely recommend booking him. Great dude! Fun to be on the boat with and we caught a bunch of fish. He filleted up our catch so we can eat it tonight for dinner. Would most definitely do this again! Wife and kids really enjoyed the experience!!!

2 Hour Trip – Kids Trip (PM) on March 14, 2025
Absolute perfect day of fishing. Weather was great, caught fish and can’t say enough good things about Captain Marvin. Extremely patient and knowledgeable. With me were my 12 year old son and my wife. Left the boat with big smiles and many wonderful memories. We will undoubtedly be booking with Captain Marvin next time we are in 30a.
