Capt. Dennis aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you’re after! Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like light tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, or jigging. You’re looking at 2 to 4-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Tautog, Flounder, Bluefish, Cobia, Black Drum, or Speckled Trout, depending on the weather and time of year.
You’ll be fishing from a 22’ Bulls Bay boat with enough room for up to 4 anglers at any single time. The vessel also includes an ice box and wireless trolling motor.
When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price.
As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don’t have to worry about it.
You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.
There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated.
The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

A Dare In Shore for the win baby
4 Hour Trip on July 7, 2025
Captain Dennis has been doing this his whole life and it shows. His experience and knowledge of the area are second to none. We learned a ton, caught a ton of spot and mullet and used that to catch a great striper just short of slot. He prioritized my son's experience which was greatly appreciated and what he does with everyone's children. We were out in tough conditions, we are fisherman ourselves back in central New York and I understood what we were getting into so I was very grateful for what we did catch and we wouldn't have caught anything without his extensive knowledge of how to get on the fish no matter what. 10 of 10 recommend to anyone coming into the area, book Captain Dennis!

2 Hour Trip – Inshore (PM) on July 18, 2025
We booked this trip with captain Dennis and he called and said the conditions were unfavorable and wanted to reschedule the next day. We went out the next day and had the best time. He was definitely looking out for our best interest. My 7 yr old daughter said it was the best time she’s ever had. If I could give higher than five stars I would. From my experience if you are looking to have a fun and relaxing time with your family or friends going with A-dare inshore is a must. Thank you again Captain Dennis for an awesome experience, can’t wait for our next trip!!!!

Great option for small family groups

We only did a short late afternoon trip but it was close to perfect for my 7-year-old. He was able to catch a lot of bait fish even though we didn't manage the snag a flounder in the end. Dennis was an excellent host and fun to be around. We were looking for something more affordable and casual than the ocean charters and this fit the bill. I will definitely plan another trip the next time we're in Ocean City.

My sons have become interested in fishing, but that’s not an area I have much knowledge about. I chose Cap’n Dennis b/c I wanted a local angler who could share his stories and experience with them. He was engaging, entertaining, and educating. We all caught fish and enjoyed our afternoon. Plus, he sent us photos of our catches! Highly recommend.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
