This trip was especially meaningful because it was my son William’s first charter fishing trip, and Captain Dennis made it a fantastic experience from start to finish. He was patient, knowledgeable, and worked hard to put us on fish throughout the trip. He took the time to explain what we were doing, answered our questions, and made sure William felt involved the entire time.

The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, and all of the gear was ready to go when we arrived. The drinks were appreciated on a hot afternoon.

I booked my trip through FishingBooker and A - Dare Charters with Capt. Dennis. The trip was excellent, Capt. Dennis ask me what I was expecting to catch that day, I said striped bass, blues, and Flounder. First thing in the morning we went jyst outside the bay because of low tide. We went to where the birds were feeding and immediately started to catch bluefish. We caught 12 total of the bluefish. Then once the tide started to rise we headed to the bay bridge to try our luck at the striped bass, had a few hits, but no luck landing. Dennis has everything ready ahead of time, there is no waiting for him to change up your rig. The last part of my trip was drifting for flounder, we caught 2 while we were drifting.

My experience with A-Dare and Capt. Dennis again was excellent and would highly recommend to others.

we had a great experience with captain dennis me and my son did a 4 hour trip and had a absolute blast the water was not the best fishing conditions since a storm just rolled through but captain dennis moved around till he found some fish and when we did he got just as excited as i did when my son caught the fish couldnt ask for a better experience or captain

Captain Dennis was great, and very knowledgeable. We caught a few flounder and had a nice bluefish on the line, but it slipped off last second. Overall it was nice to catch fish given the conditions, it was almost too hot to get any bites. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a more personalized fishing experience!

The Captain was extremely nice and knowledgeable. My son and I are inexperienced fishermen and the Captain explained everything we needed to know to catch fish. We had a fantastic time and will utilize Mr. Ward’s charter next year when we are in OC. I would recommend this charter to anyone.
