Captain Alex is knowledgeable, personable, and humorous. We had a fantastic experience and he made sure that every person was having a good time. We quickly caught our limit on trout. Then he took us to other areas to try for other fish as well which included the traditional "One That Got Away" story and even more to see and learn. The trip was prompted by our son's 13th birthday. And Captain Alex did a great job instructing him and telling some wonderful stories. So I would highlight is a good trip for kids. On top of that the boat is clean and in great shape . The equipment is top-notch. And the biggest surprise was the captain helping us clean the fish and then pointing us just to the other side of the dock for a "you hook em and we cook em" restaurant that was equally friendly and out of this world. It doesn't get fresher and lunch that day was some of the best fish we've ever had, and we caught it! I give Captain Alex and Affordable Charter my highest recommendation.
Alex was friendly, funny, and professional. Even with some minor unavoidable boat issues to start the trip he stayed cool and calm and took us on an amazing trip. My wife is NOT a fisherman and she had a wonderful time. He worked directly with her and my daughter all trip to do everything possible to get them on fish. We caught multiple trout, redfish, and mangrove and my wife had a knack for catching catfish. Great day, great trip, and an exceptional guide!
Captain Alex was amazing and put us on fish! He was attentive to our needs and took the time educate us as to why, what, where, and how! I’ve fished with Bay Fishing guides before, but Captain Alex worked harder than any guides with whom I’ve fished before! His boat was extremely comfortable and he provided a cooler with ice for our drinks and snacks. Our first trip to Port A was great and Captain Alex and his boat were a highlight for us!! When we return, will call and fish with him again!!
Captain Alex is Great! Had a wonderful morning and we caught some really good fish. If you like a great coversation with a genuine person who lives fishing and having a good time this is the captain you need to go with! Captain Alex put is in the right places to catch and provided a memorable experience for us. I would highly recommend booking this captain for a great experiece.
It was a great trip, Captain Alex was very experienced, we saw a bery large barge coming and he new that there would be some dangerous wake coming at us, so prepped his boat for it to keep is safe. Now thats a Captain that is conscious abot the safety of his clients. The big plus was he put on fish. Over all it was a successful Trip. Thank you Captain Alex Cruz.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
