Double Play Sportfishing brings you right to the center of the action! Join Captain Keith, who's been fishing the waters of Virginia Beach for over 25 years. His trips are available year-round and anglers of all skill levels are welcome to join. The trips are also family-friendly, so you can bring your little ones and watch them as they catch their very first fish!
It all starts on a 25' Pursuit that accommodates up to 6 guests. This saltwater fishing boat is powered by a 300 HP Marine power engine and reaches the speed of 25 knots. The boat is very comfortable, even for extended adventures. You'll find a private toilet, a galley, a bed, and a cooler, so the whole experience is much more enjoyable.
There's a variety of fishing adventures to choose from and it all depends on what you want to catch and how far you want to go. Inshore and nearshore spots can take you after Spanish Mackerel, Ribbonfish, Seabass, Tautog, Shark, Ribbonfish, Cobia, Drum, Bluefish, and Spadefish, while offshore spots bring Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and Billfish to the mix.
All fishing equipment and licenses are included in the price. You only need to bring your sun protection, food, and drinks.Fish cleaning is available for a fee.

The 9 and 11 year had a blast and were so tired from reeling fish in. They napped on the way back in.

Wasn’t expecting much due to the weather and temperature of the water but Shawn really made every minute exceptionally fun. Always changing up the spot to fish. Keeping us comfortable the Entire time. We took some snacks and an extra coat and it was great! He is extremely professional and knowledgeable at what he does. We didn’t catch anything. But he took us whale watching and we seen dolphins. It was only a 3 hour trip but he made sure we made the most of it. I would highly recommend shawn and his boat. He truly cares about you as a customer verses the money. Of course he needs to make money but he really made us feel like family. Thank you Shawn. We will see you when it’s warm.
