Double Play Sportfishing brings you right to the center of the action! Join Captain Keith, who's been fishing the waters of Virginia Beach for over 25 years. His trips are available year-round and anglers of all skill levels are welcome to join. The trips are also family-friendly, so you can bring your little ones and watch them as they catch their very first fish!
It all starts on a 25' Pursuit that accommodates up to 6 guests. This saltwater fishing boat is powered by a 300 HP Marine power engine and reaches the speed of 25 knots. The boat is very comfortable, even for extended adventures. You'll find a private toilet, a galley, a bed, and a cooler, so the whole experience is much more enjoyable.
There's a variety of fishing adventures to choose from and it all depends on what you want to catch and how far you want to go. Inshore and nearshore spots can take you after Spanish Mackerel, Ribbonfish, Seabass, Tautog, Shark, Ribbonfish, Cobia, Drum, Bluefish, and Spadefish, while offshore spots bring Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and Billfish to the mix.
All fishing equipment and licenses are included in the price. You only need to bring your sun protection, food, and drinks.Fish cleaning is available for a fee.

we started right on time. The Captain was kind and informative. We were able to see some dolphins and catch some new fish! it was a great experience!
Me and my sons went on a 3 hour trip. once the lines were dropped we had the 1st fish on in about 10 minutes. other than few pauses here and there me and the boys were continually reeling fish in. The 9 and 11 year had a blast and were so tired from reeling fish in. They napped on the way back in.

Keith was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and did everything he could for us to enjoy ourselves. We will be back!
We had a blast and Captain Keith was great. Will definitely call for another trip.
We just missed two hurricanes, had rough waves, lots of ocean grass, but not many fish, and that didn't stop the Captain's effort to get us some. He went to every lengths to make it happen. We went in every direction and encountered many different ocean temperatures, got a few, and he even cleaned our catch. He went above and beyond on this trip!

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
What the listing policies are
Pickup agreed upon reservation
Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
