Knot Wish’n Custom Charters is an inshore light tackle specialist guide service operating out of Virginia Beach, VA. Climb aboard for a fun-filled, affordable fishing trip with a friendly atmosphere and an experienced guide.
Your boat for the day will be a 23’ Parker center console. This sturdy vessel is perfect for family groups thanks to her high sides and makes for a stable ride both at speed and when fishing. She has room aboard for up to six guests, so bring all your friends and family along!
The boat has GPS, a fishfinder, and Captain Todd Beck’s three decades of local knowledge guiding you to the best spots.
Capt. Todd specializes in short, family-friendly charters going after tasty fish like Trout, Redfish, and Spanish Mackerel. If you’re looking for something more hard-hitting, just let him know. You can target Cobia, Bull Redfish, and King Mackerel depending on the season.

Captain Todd at Knot Wish’n did an amazing job teaching my son and I about fishing out of Virginia Beach, we were able to be very involved and loved every minute of it. Got to see a lot of things that most people haven’t. Thank You and will book Knot Wish’n anytime a charter is asked for or needed.

Awesome captain. Super knowledgeable and really went the extra mile to get us on the fish. We were not lucky that day but not for a lack of trying! Will book again when we're back in town and already recommended to my mother-in-law law (which is saying something).

Fun trip even on windy day

Todd is a great captain. We would have had a great time even if we did not catch anything. But, he was able to find us some fish even in tough wind conditions. On top of a1/2 dozen mackerel, we caught about a dozen blue fiah. From the radio traffic, it sounded like we did better than any other boat out that day. I would definitely book this trip again and would recommend it to my friends and family.

He took the time to explain the tackle and techniques, ensuring we understood exactly what we were looking for. Despite the weather and the fish not quite cooperating, he went the extra mile to make sure we still had a great time and caught something. Absolutely worth every penny, and I’ll definitely be booking with him again in the future!
