Capt. Todd specializes in short, family-friendly charters going after tasty fish like Trout, Redfish, and Spanish Mackerel. If you’re looking for something more hard-hitting, just let him know. You can target Cobia, Bull Redfish, and King Mackerel depending on the season.

Captain Todd at Knot Wish’n did an amazing job teaching my son and I about fishing out of Virginia Beach, we were able to be very involved and loved every minute of it. Got to see a lot of things that most people haven’t. Thank You and will book Knot Wish’n anytime a charter is asked for or needed.

Fun trip even on windy day

4 Hour Trip – Ocean (AM) on July 9, 2025 • 2 adults

Todd is a great captain. We would have had a great time even if we did not catch anything. But, he was able to find us some fish even in tough wind conditions. On top of a1/2 dozen mackerel, we caught about a dozen blue fiah. From the radio traffic, it sounded like we did better than any other boat out that day. I would definitely book this trip again and would recommend it to my friends and family.

Captain Todd was fantastic—funny, personable, and genuinely passionate about making the trip enjoyable. He took the time to explain the tackle and techniques, ensuring we understood exactly what we were looking for. Despite the weather and the fish not quite cooperating, he went the extra mile to make sure we still had a great time and caught something. Absolutely worth every penny, and I’ll definitely be booking with him again in the future!

Capt. Todd is the kind of guide you appreciate. Professional, thoughtful, and ready to make suggestions. He knew where the fish would be. We caught 3 fish and had some bites. It was cold weather, so the fish weren't as active, but that's the chance you take. It was a lovely morning none the less. When it is on the cooler side I recommend an afternoon trip.
