About this listing
Wellcraft originally built in 1999. Powered by 2 225HP Mercury engines with a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots.
Cliff’s Chinook Charters are located in Comox, on the eastern edge of Vancouver Island. They offer Salmon and bottom fishing trips on the Strait of Georgia, overlooked by the majestic Comox Glacier and in the company of whales, seals and other members of this fantastic ecosystem.
Their clean, comfortable, warm and safe 24 ft Wellcraft boat is powered by a 225 HP Mercury engine, and is equipped with a range of the latest fish-finding electronics including GPS, fishfinder, radar and sonar. It can accommodate up to four anglers and features a private head and a shower, as well as a surround sound stereo system. The boat is also equipped with a 9.9 Yamaha 4-Stroke outboard engine that allows you to troll quietly when targeting easily spooked fish, and Scotty Electric Downriggers to give you access to the largest Salmon that lurk far below the surface.
Cliff’s Chinook Charters specialize in fishing for Salmon, and use bottom fishing, trolling, and jigging techniques. Their tackle includes custom made Sage rods and Abel Mootching reels, which the captain and crew find to be the most effective combination when targeting Chinook, King, Coho, Silver, Sockeye, Pink, and Chum Salmon, as well as Halibut.
The use of the company’s tackle and lures is included in the price of the trips, and the crew can clean and fillet your catch for you free of charge at the end of your fishing excursion. Seeing as the captain is also a Red Seal Chef, he can even send you home with a mouth-watering recipe or two so you can enjoy a sumptuous meal at the end of the day!
15% deposit charged upfront by FishingBooker to guarantee your reservation. The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the captain on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods: Cash, Visa, Master Card, Bank Transfer, American Express, PayPal.
