Capt. Jayson will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 2 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Black Drum, Snook, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, and Shark, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle and popping.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 24' skiff flats boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with an ice-box.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with water for your refreshment, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

Captain Porter did a phenomenal job getting us out on the water and getting us a full cooler despite tougher conditions. He was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. He was able to describe exactly how to fish the area and the results speak for themselves. We caught multiple spotted/speckled sea trout with one even being over slot, caught weakfish, caught sand trout, caught multiple black drum with one being around 40”, caught two redfish (18” and 27”). All in all we ended up with a giant big of fish and some great memories. I would highly recomment booking with Captain Porter.

Captain Jayson joined the Coast Guard at the age of 17. While fishing in Pensacola, FL on vacation, he told his father that one day he will become a captain. To much of his surprise, life happened. An unforeseen work injury caused the captain not to do his work profession anymore. Captain Jayson had to make a decision to chase that childhood dream of becoming a captain.
