Capt. Jayson will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 2 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Black Drum, Snook, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, and Shark, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle and popping.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 24’ skiff flats boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with an ice-box.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with water for your refreshment, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

Great Experience
I was visiting with my family from Maine and wanted to go out with someone who knew the area. Cedar Key is beautiful, and Jayson is a great guide. His trip the morning before caught a massive redfish, and he wanted to get me out early to a good spot. The winds kicked up and we ended up getting relatively skunked. But, he more than made up for it by sharing a TON of useful knowledge. I took it and caught fish with that info later in the trip. He also showed me some great dolphin spots. Overall I would definitely do this again.

Great Family Fishing Trip with Captain Jayson!
We had a great time fishing with Captain Jayson out of Cedar Key! He was very knowledgeable and made everything easy for us. Captain Jayson was especially great with the kids—he helped my nephew with his casting and was super patient. Even though we got caught in the rain, we still caught fish and had a lot of fun. We’ll definitely be booking with him again on our next trip!

Perfect Trip!
Went out on this charter to check reds off my oldest son’s checklist and the captain did not disappoint. Captain was very knowledgeable about the area and did a great job putting us on fish. We caught eight red four that were in slot and even a bonus bull shark overall great experience

Captain Jayson is the man! I've fished my entire life fresh and saltwater, and I've never caught as much fish as I did with this charter. It literally took two days to recover from sore muscles because of the amount of fish reeling. Captain Jayson definitely has money spots and was overwhelming experience in his craft. If you are looking forward to catching rather than fishing, this is your opportunity here. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Fun Day in Cedar Key
Booked a morning trip with Capt Jason. Very foggy morning on the water and fish were a little suborn but Jason put us on many spots. Landed a couple good keeper Specs along with catching some smaller ones. Jason definitely knows the area well and it was a tough day to navigate but he did a great job and kept us safe.
