You can expect to do some spinning, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. You will be able to keep any legal species. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned.
You'll be dropping lines from a 24' Haynie bay boat with space for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Capt. Chad will have some drinks available for you.

We had an incredible experience from start to finish! The captain worked hard all day, constantly moving to where the fish were instead of sitting in one spot, and it definitely paid off—we caught plenty of fish. He stayed on top of everything, making sure our bait was always fresh and switched out when needed, which made a huge difference. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great time and leaves with a successful day on the water. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, hardworking captain who goes the extra mile, I can’t recommend this charter enough. We’ll definitely be booking again!

Not only did he help us catch plenty of fish, but he also went above and beyond to make my grandpa’s birthday extra special. I booked this trip less than a week in advance, and Cole was incredibly accommodating and happy to help us put together a memorable day. He worked hard the entire trip, moving to multiple spots whenever the fish stopped biting to keep the action going, fresh bait, fileted all our fish after the trip, and made the most of our time on the water. Everything was seamless from start to finish, and his passion, professionalism, and dedication really stood out. Captain Chad was an excellent host for our first experience fishing with my young son. He was patient and took special care in making this a memorable and enjoyable experience for us. His boat was very well equipped and comfortable. Highly recommend!
Coach had good fishing spots and has great fishing gear/equipment. has pacient and knows how to teach new timers!! will come back to him on our next charter boat! our guys loved it and enjoyed it
the weather's wasn't the greatest, it was cold and the fish were sluggish but Captain Chad made sure we landed a few eating size strippers and even one really decent fish. I knew ahead of time what to expect and we had lots of fun. I'm going again when the weather is nicer.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
