Capt. Brian is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You’ll be using techniques like light tackle, heavy tackle, and trolling, depending on what you’re going after. As part of their 5 to 12-hour trips, you can target species like Mako, Thresher and Blue sharks, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
Your adventure begins on board a 36’ Hatteras boat that can fit a maximum of 6 anglers. The boat is fitted with a porcelain flushing toilet, leather couch, bunks, refrigerator, microwave, and running hot water.
All the necessary fishing gear and bait is included in the price of your trip.
Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.
These trips are strictly catch-and-release, so expect to return anything you catch back to the water. There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated.
You’ll find some free snacks, and bottled waters on the boat for your convenience, but please pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to.
Want to bring the rest of the family along for the ride? Kids are welcome aboard, so you’re free to make it a family adventure.
Book your trip now and hit the water with Fishing Charters Of San Diego – Sharks.

Shark Half Day (AM)
My 5 hour trip with Brian and his crew was a blast. I battled sea sickness the majority of the time but the guys didn't let that stop the fun. I fought through and they put me on some good sharks. Equipment was sufficient and had a set up ready to go for any size of shark sited. The site fishing aspect was a BLAST and even though we couldn't get the biggest ones sited hooked up, my heart has never raced more with a baited line in the water. Makos are understandably not an easy fish to handle so this trip is for the pure thrill from the fight of a top of the chain predator so this isn't the trip for family photos and fish to take home: nonetheless, if you want a once in a lifetime experience with expensive gear and an expensive vessel then allot yourself about 3 hours per person who wants to hook into a shark. There was 2 of us and we hooked into 2 sharks, and had the opportunity for 2 more. Don't cheap out and book some good hours with these guys and you'll have a great story of an adventure to cherish and share. This was so much fun even sick as a dog the whole time! Check out their website Fishing Charters of San Diego and book a trip you will be pleased with!
