Led by Captain Yustas Fortuna, an experienced local angler, the crew offers a few exciting trips to make your vacation unforgettable. Come to Punta Cana and make the fishing memories of a lifetime!
Your trip takes place on the Blue Sky, a 36’ Luhrs Open ultimate fishing machine. It can take up to 4 guests, has a wide hull, and is stable on rough water. The stern is comfy and wide and there’s a lot of free space for fighting the fish. The boat will maximize your chances with 5 rods in the water thanks to its long outriggers.
There’s also a large cockpit with a Pompanette fighting chair and a long, forward, overlooking flybridge with coaches. There’s also a convenient and wide swim board with a marine ladder for easy access to the sea for snorkeling, swimming, or relaxing after fishing. On this powerful boat, you can relax and cool down during your fishing trip in the big cabin with white leather couches.
You and the crew will be fishing Blue and White Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Sailfish, as well as Great Barracuda. The techniques you can use include deep sea fishing and trolling on heavy tackle. You can keep most of the species you catch and you’re welcome to bring kids on your trip.
The company’s private van can pick you up, take you to the dock, and bring you back to your accommodation. The crew provides all the fishing gear, licenses, a catch cleaning service, along with drinks and even lunch. All this is included in your trip price – there are no hidden fees.

4 Hour Trip (AM)
It’s called fishing, not catching
Our trip was supposed to start at 8:00. The driver was to pick us up at the lobby of our resort at 7:30. Big Marlon Charters sent me a message at 7:00 stating that the boat we were to on wouldn’t start and asked if we could change our fishing time to 12:00 on a different boat. We accepted that offer. The driver, Max, picked us up at our resort at 11:30. We fished on the Gone Dog. We only caught two barracuda but the captain and mate were doing everything they could to get us on fish. After arriving back in port we found out that other fishing boats caught nothing. Overall the fishing experience was good but I would have preferred to fish in the morning

Fantastic trip!
Miguel y Miguel were both fantastic! We went in the afternoon due to our schedules not really hopeful since the fishing tends to be better in the AM. We got 8 dorado and 2 barracuda. 1 dorado was a large bull. Of course, we were hoping for a marlin as this is the season, but no such luck. But that’s fishing! They seemed to work really well as a team and we had bait on 5 lines the whole time. You can have the restaurant there cook your catch for you and serve but we were salty and tired. The shuttle was very nice and clean.

10 Hour Trip
Miguel y Miguel were amazing!
Both Captain and First Mate were named Miguel and both were amazing. Professional, courteous, skilled, and helpful. We caught a good amount of fish. It is called fishing and the fish won a couple battles, it's amazing though because when you are out there and you watch a fish leap out of the water eat half a bait and not get hooked you have to cheer for the one that got away!!! I would certainly fish with these guys again. I booked a 10 hour trip. We trolled and trolled and trolled. We got some fish. I was just disappointed that we didn't travel more, further away, or around the island. I could see the land the whole time and we fished the same stretch back and forth for 10 hours. I felt we could have traveled to different grounds and I think this is a company decision not a captain decision. Also, there was not a snorkel break, I brought my equipment from home and thought heck I have a 10 hour trip this could be a nice break in the day, but it was offered at the end of the trip probably right there in the mooring area where there is a little reef where the snorkel tours are offered. After I had already spent the whole day in the sun. I skipped out and was ready to get back to the resort and shower. I came away with my first Barracuda, a few Mahi and darn it that Marlin got away. It was a pleasure spending the day with Miguel y Miguel.

Top notch service!!!!
The 2 Miguel's tried to get me on fish switching out bait/lures constantly. We did hook up on a Mahi Mahi but it launched and spit the hook at the stern. Fishing is fishing. No guarantees. My only suggestion is to be more clear with instructions regarding resort pickup. My email said to be ready at the hotel lobby as close to the driveway as possible but than said to walk or take taxi to the main gate as we don't have access to the resorts property. After arguing with the bellboys and much confusion I got them to take me to the main security gate via golf cart. I sat and waited for 15 minutes while the transport van was at the lobby. Please be more clear! Otherwise great charter!
