Led by Captain Yustas Fortuna, an experienced local angler, the crew offers a few exciting trips to make your vacation unforgettable. Come to Punta Cana and make the fishing memories of a lifetime!
Your trip takes place on the Blue Sky, a 36’ Luhrs Open ultimate fishing machine. It can take up to 4 guests, has a wide hull, and is stable on rough water. The stern is comfy and wide and there’s a lot of free space for fighting the fish. The boat will maximize your chances with 5 rods in the water thanks to its long outriggers.
There’s also a large cockpit with a Pompanette fighting chair and a long, forward, overlooking flybridge with coaches. There’s also a convenient and wide swim board with a marine ladder for easy access to the sea for snorkeling, swimming, or relaxing after fishing. On this powerful boat, you can relax and cool down during your fishing trip in the big cabin with white leather couches.
You and the crew will be fishing Blue and White Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Sailfish, as well as Great Barracuda. The techniques you can use include deep sea fishing and trolling on heavy tackle. You can keep most of the species you catch and you’re welcome to bring kids on your trip.
The company’s private van can pick you up, take you to the dock, and bring you back to your accommodation. The crew provides all the fishing gear, licenses, a catch cleaning service, along with drinks and even lunch. All this is included in your trip price – there are no hidden fees.

Awesome Fishing Trip!
Amazing fishing trip with Miguel and Miguel! We didn't catch as many as we hoped for, but no complaints! We landed 2 Mahi Mahi and a barracuda! It's our honeymoon and my wife's first time deep sea fishing — they even let her keep the barracuda's teeth as a souvenir! The best part of the trip was the crew filleting our catch and bringing the meat to a local beachside restaurant. My wife normally doesn't like fish, but she absolutely loved the Mahi Mahi. We'd definitely come back again! Chasin' a marlin!

Great experience. Even with a 3 year old.
Had an great time fishing on the blue sky. We had a 3 year old with us and was great. The crew was amazing super friendly and making our daughter their new friend. Fishing was tough. Took lots of strikes. The captain definitely put in all his effort to get us a fish. We finally ended up with a nice Mahi Mahi. The last hour the bite turned on. Every strike we took the captain made it a point to make another pass threw that area again. I've had the pleasure of fishing in many locations around the world with many captains and deckhands. These guys are hands down amazing. The entire experience was top-notch. They picked us up from our resort and right to the boat. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Fantastic trip!
Miguel y Miguel were both fantastic! We went in the afternoon due to our schedules not really hopeful since the fishing tends to be better in the AM. We got 8 dorado and 2 barracuda. 1 dorado was a large bull. Of course, we were hoping for a marlin as this is the season, but no such luck. But that's fishing! They seemed to work really well as a team and we had bait on 5 lines the whole time. You can have the restaurant there cook your catch for you and serve but we were salty and tired. The shuttle was very nice and clean.

Super fun adventure! Will book again next year
My wife and I booked Big Marlin Charters on Blue Sky. These guys picked us up from the hotel gate in a private van, the driver walked us to the tender and Blue Sky was anchored just off the beach. We immediately got to fishing with 5 lines in the water. We didnt catch any marlin, but had a great time hauling in Barracuda. They provided beers, rum and coke, water, sprite etc. It was rough with 5'-6' rollers but we had a great time being out there (no seasickness). The communication with these guys was amazing. Quick responses and he reached out to me the day before to check our comfort level with big seas. We went anyways but could have rescheduled to a different day at no charge. The boat was in good shape and the captain and mate clearly knew what they were doing. They worked to get us on fish from the minute we left. Thanks for a great adventure - will surely book again next time we are in Punta Cana.

Great Morning On The "Blue Sky" With Big Marlin Charters
Was a great experience dealing with Big Marlin Charters Booked our Fishing trip on-line and everything went very smoothly Morning started with there driver picking us up at our resort front gates. As it turned out the Boat(s) where moored just 5 min up the beach so we walked back to our resort after our Charter. The Captain and Mate where very experienced , friendly and wanted to catch fish as much as we did. The mate was constantly rigging and working the lines. The Captain new the water and the signs of where the fish where. ( Im not going to divulge his secrets ) The Captain and mate where in constant contact and we where well prepared when the bite was most like going to happen Our Charter was 4 hrs long on the 36' Blue Sky. The Boat was very well set up and handled the Rough Conditions we fished in Out of the 4 hrs we fished approximately 3 hrs with the trips out and back about a half hr each. The Fish hit in bunches ...We boated 8 good sized Mahi-Mahi . 1 double header , 1 triple header and 1 quadruple header. We lost 1 at the boat during the quadruple header ....pretty furious action.... Excellent job done by Captain and Mate. We also fought a good size Blue Marlin for awhile but it shook the hook Highly Recommend Big Marlin Charters ... Very Professional Note - There prices are Much Better then buying from Vendors on the beach . Brad , Owen Sound, Ontario , Canada
