Father and Sons Fishing Charters 

I took a solo 6-hour charter with Father and Sons yesterday and it was one of the best decisions of my trip. Captain Roberto knows every inch of these waters, and Captain José kept the lines busy and the energy up the whole time. We had a great day of catching — 8 barracudas, a cero mackerel, and a blue runner. We also stopped at Vieques where I jumped in for a swim, which was a perfect break. The guys shared stories from years on the water that made the whole trip feel personal, not transactional. I got seasick mid-trip, and the crew could not have been more attentive or kind about it. As a woman traveling solo, that level of care and professionalism meant a lot. I never felt anything but welcome.

Jose and Roberto were amazing to go fishing with. They were very accommodating for those in our family who had not gone offshore fishing before. They were engaging and positive with the kids and when they noticed that some of our crew needed a break from ocean waves they moved us to calmer waters and let everyone jump in the water and swim a bit to reset. They were the percect crew for my family who had not gone offshore before. I would recommend them to anyone and would book a trip with them again in the future.

We had the most amazing time with Jose and Roberto, they brought a great energy that made us feel like family right from the start. We had a group of 5 and were all able to catch multiple fish. The weather was great so we stopped for lunch at a small beach and swam around. Make sure you show up early because these guys are on top of it and the marina is so big you don't want to keep them waiting. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good time with a great couple of guys!

Highly recommend this charter. Capt. Roberto and mate Jose know how to get their clients on fish. They are professional angles with 40 plus years in the fishing industry. They were very communicative and made sure everyone was taken care of. We did keep some of our catch and the cleaned and fileted all the fish for us. Great experience and I highly recommend them. We will be back for another great adventure with Captain Roberto.

Fantastic experience with Father & Sons Fishing. The crew was great with our boys—patient, fun, and made the whole trip easy and enjoyable. They put us on fish quickly, and seeing the kids reel them in was the highlight. They took us snorkeling to break up the day. It felt personal and family-focused, not just another charter. Highly recommend for anyone fishing with kids—we’ll definitely be back.

This fishing trip was an amzing experience. We have never been salt water fishing and they made it easy for us beginners. They are great with all ages young and old. We caught fish and made new friends while on vacation. They taught us a lot about the culture and made us want to come back and see more of the island. Thank you so much.

This half-day experience was wonderful. Captain Roberto and Captain Jose made our adventure so much fun with their knowledge of fishing and the ocean. We caught 6 Barracuda and 1 Kingfish. We ate the Kingfish later and it was delicious. Will definitely come back someday!

Jose was wonderful with fish along side being very knowledgeable with PR as a whole and what to do and where to go! Really recommand doing fishing early on in the trip so you can be informed of what to do and what not to do!

Capt Jose and Roberto were fantastic! so kind and patient explaining everything to our Grandson , really made his first ever deep sea fishing experience something he will remember forever!
