Pure Adventure Corp.
If you’re going to cast a line in Puerto Rico’s East Coast, look no further than Pure Adventure Corp.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Wahoo, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Mahi Mahi, Cero Mackerel, Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Snook, Caribbean Queen Snapper, Mutton Snapper and whatever else takes the bait. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You’ll be casting lines from a 36’ Twin Vee catamaran with capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Juan has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.
Your trip with Pure Adventure Corp. is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
