Open Boat Fishing Services welcomes you for a fun-packed nearshore or back bay fishing trip in Galveston. Starting out of Watermans Marina, you and Captain Justin Albert will travel to some of the best spots in the area and have a great time chasing various lovely species. The captain has got both skills and equipment to provide you with a successful day on the water, so pick a day that suits you and have a memorable time fishing!

Your boat for the day will be a 23’ Nautic Star bay boat. It can sit up to 4 guests, runs on a speedy Yamaha 250 V6 SHO engine, and uses all the modern GPS and fishfinder navigation technology. It features a multimedia system, wireless trolling motor, and livewell.

You and Captain Justin will go after many fine species, such as Seatrout, Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead, sharks, and many more. Using light tackle, you can attract your prey by spinning, drift fishing, and Flounder gigging. You are free to keep the fish you catch.

Before you start your journey, make sure to have some food. Captain Justin provides everything from the equipment to catch cleaning, and even drinks. Bait is not included in the price, so be sure to ask the captain what your options are.

This was one of our favorite fishing trip we have taken and Justin Albert was one of the main reasons. We wanted Big Redfish and my wife caught a 36" one and then for the rest of the trip, Justin tried many different areas to get one for myself and son. Justin took us all over the bay which is what you want in a guide. We did catch a variety of fish (flounder, sea trout, black drum, and reds). I would recommend Justin to anyone looking to have a great day on the waters. We look forward to next year to get back on the water.

Talk about a blast! We booked this trip extremely last minute and wasn’t expecting much. Justin is one of the most down to earth guys that is extremely nice and cool to hang out with! His boat is nice in a convenient. No one will try harder to put you on fish than Justin! I’ve been on a lot of guides, but justin is one of the most driven! He even turned the half day trip into about 8 hours. He’s not afraid to burn gas to get where he wants. If your wanting to have a blast and fish or learn about fishing. I highly recommend!!

What a wonderful day! We did a 5 hour trip with Justin and had a blast. He was very attentive to our multiple lines in the water, was very helpful with his instructions, and was easy to talk to too! I would high recommend a trip with him! It’s obvious he loves what he does and goes out of his way to make your trip better.

Justine was awsome we knew fishing would be slow because of moon phase and water temperature But Justine stayed with it putting us on some fish we had a really good trip Justine was very easy to talk to and attentive to us we will book with him again.
