Looking to go fishing in Jensen Beach? Look no further than Vintage Charters! With Captain Dexter at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.

These waters are known for Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Tarpon, Vermilion Snapper, Mutton Snapper, King Mackerel, Snook, Wahoo, Black Grouper, Blackfin Tuna, Tilefish, and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Dexter can also help you try kite fishing.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 25’ Contender center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has outriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It’s recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Vintage Charters.

Captain Dexter grew up on the water and has been fishing since a child. He has fished throughout Florida since his childhood and knew this is what he wanted to do for a living since his late teens. Dexter lived in Vero Beach since his early childhood and learned all about the Indian River Lagoon and became an expert in inshore fishing. After high school, he moved to St. Pete FL for college where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in business management. While there, Dexter bottom-fished for Grouper and Snapper and spent lots of time chasing Tarpon and Snook inshore. Since moving back to the Treasure Coast in 2014, he has worked in the marine industry and has been working professionally on sportfishing yachts for the past 6 years. Dexter has gotten to know all the ins and outs of fishing on large boats, making him an expert in finding and catching fish. Some of his accomplishments include winning multiple sailfish tournaments and having multiple double-digit days of sailfish.
