Captain Craig Mick is a tournament-winning captain who has been navigating the waters of Florida for decades. Now, he’s ready to show a few lucky people his favorite spots to fish in the Panhandle area. Join him in Pensacola, Florida, and experience a fishing trip of a lifetime!
Your adventure takes place on a restored 25’ Contender that can take up to 6 guests. The boat uses GPS, a fishfinder, and radio and runs on a 300 HP Suzuki engine. The boat also comes with a wireless trolling motor, so you can get to the spots others can’t.
On your trip, you and Capt. Craig will be targeting Amberjack, Cobia, Scamp Grouper, King Mackerel, Redfish, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, and more, depending on the season. Using ight and heavy tackle, you can try bottom, deep sea, drift, and kite fishing, as well as trolling, spinning, and jigging to maximize your chance of landing that trophy catch.
All Brighter Days trips come with bait, tackle, rods, reels, and safety equipment for all on board, along with licenses – not forgetting that all-important local expertise! You only need to pack your snacks, drinks, and sunscreen, and settle in for a thrilling day.

Exceptional morning, fantastic time.

This was a trip my best friend and I have wanted to do for a long time, and Captain Craig and Mate Jacob made it absolutely phenomenal. Not only were they both extremely knowledgeable and skillful, they were super helpful in showing us the ropes and helping us catch some truly remarkable, maybe once-in-a-lifetime fish. Their know-how and talent for this was remarkable — something you only see in people with decades of experience doing something they love. We’ll definitely be back, and we wouldn’t think of going out with anyone else. If you want to give this a shot for the first time or if you’re an experienced angler looking to refine your skills, I think you’re going to be hard pressed to find a better charter. Oh yeah, and that massive Mangrove Snapper was delicious!

Great trip with a great captain

Our trip with Captain Craig was everything we hoped. Each member of our group was able to catch fish with the captains knowledge of the area. We did an inshore trip and had a great time. He was helpful and well prepared with all the gear and bait needed to make our trip a success. He even gave us some great advice on local restaurants to take our catch where they cook it for you. So, after a day on the water, Captain cleaned all our fish for us, we went to an amazing restaurant that cooked it, and we had an absolute feast!! It was the best day! I highly recommend this charter!!!

Great for kids and families

We had a great time. Taylor and Noah were great with our four boys. They were patient and taught them a lot about fish and even some about boating. We had to fight dolphins for the fish so not a lot of keepers, but we more than made up for that with a world class cobia! The boys are still talking about it! We can’t wait for the next trip.

Good fishing trip,captain Mick & mate Spencer were friendly & knowledgeable. Our 1st stop had lots of bites but no fish, so we moved on to a honey hole,catching enough fish to feed the five of us for two days

Snapper!

They got us on a massive plume of snapper immediately when the boat stopped. The captain knew exactly where to go and how to get us on the fish. Red snapper and Vermilion were on the menu.
