Black Drum, Bluefish, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Black Grouper, Speckled Trout, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Redfish, Red Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, and more could be biting if conditions are right. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Q can also take you Flounder gigging.

Southern Strike is a child-friendly charter service, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks!

You'll be dropping lines from a 19' Triton bay boat with room for 3 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
