The “Freedom” is a well-maintained 44’ Henriques sport fisher, whose equipment and build exude class and high standards. The air-conditioned interior has ample seating for up to 13 people, while the galley downstairs has plenty of room for your belongings and snacks. Take a break on one of the four large bunks up forward, and keep comfortable with the clean and fully-functional restroom with a real freshwater sink.
Once you get to the fishing grounds, you and your whole group will have plenty of space on deck to participate in the rod-bending action Panama City Beach is famous for. You’ll be equipped with top-of-the-range tackle by Penn and Shimano, and your attentive crew will walk you through the best ways to use it. Complete beginners can learn a lot, while the crew will also offer refresher tips for seasoned anglers.
With a large variety of fish available, you could be catching anything from Red Snapper, Grouper, and Amberjack to Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, and Wahoo, depending on the length of your trip and the season.

6 hr afternnon bottom fishing trip on June 17, 2026 • 9 adultsWe honestly expected the trip to be canceled because the waves were so rough, but as they say, the show must go on! Most of our group were first-time fishermen, but with conditions like that, you would’ve thought we were all beginners. Out of our group of nine, only four managed to fish the entire trip. Three fished on and off, while two never made it to a fishing rod at all. One person was so seasick he couldn’t even hold his head up, and another spent most of the trip trying to stay upright while the boat rocked beneath him. Despite Mother Nature doing her best to challenge us, we still had a fantastic time. We made great memories, caught some fish, and shared plenty of laughs along the way. The captain was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The first mate was equally impressive: patient, helpful, and always willing to lend a hand, especially when the seas were testing everyone’s sea legs. Overall, it was a memorable adventure, and we’d definitely recommend the Freedom to anyone looking for a fun day on the water. Just remember: the fish aren’t the only thing that might get hooked—the waves may get you first! 🎣🌊😄

There was plenty of room for all 7 of us. Having an air conditioned area for the kids, when they got hot, was a plus! We caught lots of Mackerel on our 4 hour trolling trip! The market next to the dock cleaned, packaged, and froze our fish for us so it would be ready for our trip back home. Thanks so much for a great time!

Captain Wayne was very friendly and did a great job of getting us on top of the snapper we requested to fish for. Deckhand Corey worked fast and efficiently to make sure our poles were baited and ready to go no matter if we lost our bait, or our lines broke, he was on top of things to keep us fishing. We enjoyed our trip and would book with them again.

Captain and 1st mate were great. We cought several fish and we all enjoyed our day. The ocean was really rough, but it didnt stop the good times and memories made.
