Shallowater Bay Adventures runs angling trips out of Lutes Marina and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Capt. Captain Kevin aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you're after! He fishes West Galveston Bay, Bastrop, Christmas Bay, and Chocolate Bayou.
Depending on the trip and species, you'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning. You're looking at 5 to 8-hour trips, where you'll usually go after the likes of Flounder, Redfish, and Speckled Trout, depending on the weather and time of year. If you're looking to catch a trophy trout, he loves to coach others on his techniques November through March.
You'll be fishing from a 25' Gulf Coast boat with enough room for up to 4 anglers at any single time. It makes getting to the fishing spots quick and easy as you ride in style, enjoy the scenery, and have loads of fun. It also includes an ice box and wireless trolling motor.
The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. Please keep in mind, live bait is market price and
you'll need to get a fishing license before the start of the trip. You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
Children are welcome aboard so you're good to get the young ones started early.

We had a group of 4 friends out for a fishing trip and had an absolutely amazing time. Captain Kevin was friendly and great from the moment we stepped on the boat. He knew exactly where to go, and we caught a lot of fish—everyone was busy reeling them in. A huge bonus was that Captain Kevin took high quality pictures for us throughout the day, so we have some awesome photos to remember the trip. We all agreed it was a 10/10 experience, and we will be booking this charter again! Highly recommended.
We definitely had a fun day out on the bay!!!! And the pictures turned out great.
The bay was too rough, so we decided to fish in the shallow river instead. We caught plenty of fish, and my kids had a great time. Captain Kevin definitely know what he is doing and made the whole experience enjoyable for my family. We got plenty of fish for dinners.

Captain Kevin was great. He is very knowledgeable and willing to share his experience. My friends and I had a great time on the water and caught some nice trout. I'd recommend Captain Kevin to anyone looking to catch fish and have a good time.

Capt. Kevin was amazing with my 7 year old daughter and her 8 year old cousin. His patient and playful demeanor built quick rapport with them and his calm assertiveness with the rules kept them safe. Amazing trip!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
