Meador's Guide Service invites you to fish with the locals out of Galveston, Texas. The waters of the Galveston Bay Complex have some of the finest inshore fishing grounds in the state. Your captain has fished all over the country, but came back home to guide on the Texas coast. He will gladly tell you why Redfish, Flounder, and Trout fishing are so good in Galveston. Or even better, he will show you!
Explore the Galveston's inshore fishing potential by stepping aboard a 2021, 26' Catalyst bay boat. Its single 300 HP Suzuki engine will power you to the fishing grounds in comfort and style. There is plenty of room for up to 4 anglers so feel free to bring your kids with you. The vessel is prepared for the bite with its navigational electronics, an icebox, and a live well.
Whether you want a short ride to the fishing grounds to test the water or you are looking for a full day adventure, Meador's Guide Service will cater to your specific need. The captain will introduce you to jigging, popping, drift fishing, and fishing with light tackle if you have never held a rod in your hands. You can also test yourself in wading, just make sure to bring appropriate clothing.
In order to make a great catch possible, you will be provided with quality rods, reels, tackle, and lures. Your captain will send your catch home cleaned and filleted so that you could get your dinner sorted out. You will only need to purchase a license and bring something to eat and drink.
Live bait comes at an additional cost and it depends on the number of people and type of trip. It is charged at the market rate as follows:
Live Croaker are $10 USD per dozen.
Live Shrimp are $20 USD per quart.

captain Tim was a good time! it doesn’t take long to know when someone knows their stuff. we caught trout, reds, shark and sting ray with a few slip jack mixed in. we limited out on trout by 8:30am. what made it a special trip for me is i had my grandkids with me.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
