Had a very fun and successful day of fishing with Captain Varga. Kevin knows his stuff and the areas he fishes.

Let me start off by say….CAPT. KEVIN IS THE MAN!!! When you’re searching for your next saltwater adventure, look no further than Shallowater Bay Adventures. Capt. Kevin is just short of a Saint. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the waters, targeted species and the list goes on. If you’re looking for a family fun expedition on the water…look no further. Capt. Kevin is just what we needed! My mom, 75, and three kids, 15,15,8 were beyond thrilled of how easy going our Captain was and engaged with them like he was part of our family….and as far as I’m concerned, he is. Most of us work hard for our money and Shallowater Bay Adventures respects that fact and pays it back in spades!

I can’t say enough great things about Captain Kevin!  I told him a couple species we’d like to catch, but we were open to catching anything and everything for fun, and that I wanted my 17 yr old son to have the most memorable trip ever, and boy did he know where to take us!!  We caught so many fish!!  We caught big fish, (well my son did :)), fish too small to keep, ones that were fun to reel in, and ones you didn’t even want on the boat.  With those we took a picture, cut the line, and rig up for another cast to catch more.  He was so much fun!  Not to mention his boat has an amazing sound system and he played great music for us which made what little time we had with no bites go by so much faster.  No doubt he would be great with any group of adults, but most definitely amazing with kids and families.  He’s definitely experienced, and wants everyone to catch, and have a great time.  We can’t thank him enough for such a great trip.

Captain Kevin was amazing. Very personable. Took care to make sure we had a great experience. I had my 2 teenagers with me and he spent time teaching them and helping them to land some amazing fish. He spent extra time with us to keep catching even after our time was up.

Boat was beautiful, well maintained, safe and secure. The gear he used was new and functioning well. I would give the overall experience a 10/10. Already planning for our next trip with him.

Wonderful day on the water. Kevin is an exceptional guide. Friendly, kind, positive, and funny. Caught roughly 50 fish on the day including a handful of reds, handful of speckled trout, and a good number of black drum. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.
