Rising Tide Charters LLC welcomes you to Avalon, New Jersey from May to Nov and to Ft Pierce, Fl from late Nov - May. We promise to make your day on the water a memorable one. Captain Scott Brown will take you inshore, nearshore, as well as offshore and will do his best to make your trip fun and productive.
Your adventure starts on a 34' custom Jarrett Bay walk around yacht,that can safely take up to 6 anglers. The yacht is powered by twin 350 HP Yamaha engines and uses all the needed navigation electronics to provide a quick and safe ride to the fish. The boat comes with a toilet, heating and air conditioning and bed for your comfort.
The species you can expect to target on your trip include Marlin, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, tarpon, snapper and more. Expect to try bottom fishing, big game fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, as well as drift fishing on light and heavy tackle to reel in these prized fish.
Capt. Scott will provide you with all the fishing rods, reels, tackle, bait, fishing licenses needed for your trip. Kids are welcome to join aboard and you can choose whether you'll keep the fish you catch, as Capt. Scott will clean and fillet them
for you. All you have to do is bring some food and drinks to stay energized during the trip.

If you’re looking for a captain who knows where the fish are and knows how to make you laugh, Captain Scott is your guy! We caught an incredible 60-pound bluefin tuna within the first hour, and the rest of the trip was just as awesome. Captain Scott kept everyone entertained with joke after joke, had the kids smiling the whole time, let them get involved, and made the day feel more like hanging out with a friend than booking a charter. We spent hours trolling, even got to jump in for a swim, and when it was all over, Captain Scott filleted our tuna so we could take it home and enjoy the freshest fish imaginable. Captain Scott and his first mate even gave me pointers on how to cook it tonight for an amazing meal. Great fishing, great laughs, and great memories. If you’re thinking about booking with Captain Scott, stop thinking and just do it—you won’t regret it!

We had a great time! Captain Scott and first mate Mark were wonderful even with 2 people that have NEVER been out on the ocean. Trip out was quick and we started catching fish almost right away. At some points in the trip, all four of us were reeling in fish at the same time!! Both the captain and mate jumped right in to help us all land our fish. We caught more than enough for a delicious dinner. Highly recommend the 1/2day inshore troll for first timers! (we did the 8am-12pm) We will definitely book with them again when we are in the area!

My wife and I had a great time! Fish weren’t biting a lot, I lost three, one of which was a monster! Did not land any of the three (my fault!). First Mate Mark hooked a flounder that my wife landed, meaning she skunked me! This is second fishing trip in the inner bay that Captain Scott took us on and it will not be the last. Mark and Captain Scott very very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, both fishing and area background. We are very happy with that trip.

Captain Scott and Mark were wonderful— personable and knowledgeable, what more could you want? Once the fish were found, they helped make dreams come true for two of my sons by helping to bring in 2 bluefin tuna in a 4 hour trip! Truly a priceless experience. Would absolutely book again, but for longer trip next time! Thank you for helping my family create lifelong memories.

Scott and Mark were friendly and helpful. They were particularly kind to my five year old son, who was entertained for the entire four hour trip. we caught shark, sea bass and flounder -- though overall the fish weren't really biting. Scott helped fillet the one keeper we had -- a flounder which cooked up beautifully later. highly recommended!
