Mossytails Charters welcomes you aboard for a memorable fishing trip out of Orange Beach, AL. Captain David Moss will do his best to make your stay on the water fun and productive. He’s a lifelong angler whose biggest love is sharing his passion for fishing with others and seeing them making memories on the water. Join him aboard and have a wonderful fishing time the Gulf of Mexico.
Your trip will take place on a 31’ Twin Vee catamaran that can safely carry up to 6 anglers. This boat runs on twin 300 HP Suzuki engines and uses modern GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio technology, all serving to bring you to the fish quickly and safely. The boat also comes with a wireless trolling motor, an ice-box, and a livewell.
You can fish inshore, offshore, reefs, and wrecks, all of which are full of many different fish. Go after Shark, Snapper, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Grey Triggerfish, Amberjack, Redfish, and more, depending on the season. To attract them, you can try bottom fishing, big game fishing, drift fishing, trolling, popping, spinning, and jigging on light or heavy tackle.
The captain provides rods, reels, tackle, fishing licenses, as well as bottled water. Bait is included. You’re free to keep the fish you catch as well as to bring kids aboard, so what are you waiting for?

David and Eli are great. We went with bad weather (they were honest about the conditions and were willing to reschedule) and still managed to catch several fish. Their equipment was solid, they know what they're doing, and they will help you with everything.
Great experience overall with very professional and knowledgeable fishing guide! If you want to go fishing and be taken care of look no further! During our trip Mossy Tails went above and beyond to make sure all our wants and desires for red snapper got done! Already planning our next trip with Mossy Tails! We had so much fun deep sea fishing! It was a first for both of us, and we had no clue what we were doing, but Captain David and Captain Robbie made us feel like professionals. We caught so many fish! They taught us exactly how to drop the line and how to pull it up to give us the best chance of catching a fish. It was a blast! I will definitely do it again, and it will definitely be with Mossy Tails Charters!
Went out on a corporate trip and had a blast. David and Robbie took care of us and put us on the fish! Limited out on Red Snapper and Vermilion!! Definitely will be back.
A busy and fun day of fishing with Captain David and Robie, they are great with the crew aboard their boat, at the end of the trip all the crew, talking about their good experience with them.
