If you’re ready to start fishing in Orange Beach, look no further than OBA Saltwater Charters. With Captain Tyler at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Redfish, Red Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Wahoo, Yellowtail Amberjack, and more with any luck. During the trip, you might be fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your day begins aboard a 25’ Sea Hunt with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don’t forget to bring bottled water, snacks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that daydream into a reality with OBA Saltwater Charters.
