There's no guarantee when you're fishing,but some of the species you can catch around here include Amberjack, Cobia, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Snowy Grouper, Yellowedge Grouper, Warsaw Grouper, Yellowmouth Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Blue Marlin and more depending on the length of the trip with any luck.
Trips with Chili Dog Charters are great for kids, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You'll be welcome aboard a 36' Cruiser with room for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. The boat has a Seakeeper stabilizer, which significantly reduces the rolling often associated with seasickness. There's also a toilet on board and a cabin with a cold AC for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We limited out on Snapper within about an hour and a half of boarding the boat and caught a few Spanish Mackerel trolling closer to shore. The boat was comfortable with Cold AC in the cabin. Excellent boat for a family trip.

- Fishing license (Our boat is federally permitted, so it includes a blanket license for all guests to fish. No additional fishing license is required.)
