Island Reef Tours offers nearshore and offshore charters off the coast of Fajardo, Puerto Rico. The northeast end of Puerto Rico is known for its sportfishing. Guiding you to numerous locations depending on the season, Captain Danielle Colombo and the first mate will help you land a good catch and have a day to remember on the sea!

The boat you’ll be using is a restored 36’ Egg Harbor center console that can sit up to 6 guests. Thanks to its twin 300 HP Suzuki engines, you’ll reach the desired spots in no time. The boat uses modern navigational electronics and is equipped with spearfishing gear, snorkeling gear, and a livewell. It’s got a flybridge and features an ice-box to store your catch.

The Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet in Puerto Rico which brings an abundance of game fish within miles off the shore. This allows the crew to operate year-round and chase different species of fish, such as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blue Marlin, Bluefin Tuna, Mackerel, Red Snapper, Grouper, and more. You’ll catch your prey by bottom fishing deep sea fishing, jigging, and drift fishing, using both light and heavy tackle. You can choose to keep or release the fish you catch.

If you want to experience the underwater world up close, there’s also the option of going spearfishing. You’ll be accommodated by a master dive instructor and fisherman on a 2-tank dive and 4-5 hour excursion. The dive includes 2 tanks, gear, and a spear gun. You must be certified for diving and have the credentials when booking.

The only things you’ll need to bring are sunscreen and a hat. Captain Danielle takes care of all the fishing gear, bait, snacks, drinks, lunch, as well as catch cleaning.
