Seemed professional, got live bait to start with. Huge problem. Jim doesn’t know how to be a guide, poor communication, poor small talk, doesn’t let you know what’s going on. Overall makes you feel dumb and I fish regularly all the time. I asked what size Barra are you usually catching and he replied how long is a piece of string… that’s his attitude, rude and un accomodating. No water for free. Just bad jokes and him doing everything including telling you off for not doing exactly what he wants. Please use other charters if you want to enjoy your experience. Regardless of what you catch a good skipper will always make you feel welcome.

If you think you can do it better as per your comments I suggest you hire a boat and skipper it yourself.

Hey Jim one question man…. when would be the better time to try catch a Barra ? Am or pm? High tide is 7:55am low at 2:06pm… been doing loads of research but really I’ve thought that change of tide is good for catching.  It that’s in Perth. I’m not familiar with cairns… what do you think?
