Creek Ninja Guided Fishing
Looking to go fishing in Portsmith? That's what Creek Ninja Guided Fishing is here for! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Gaelen can tell you all about them.
Flathead, Threadfin Salmon, Javelin Grunter, Barramundi, Giant Trevally, Bigeye Trevally, and more could be biting if you come at the right time of year.
Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Gaelen also offers fly fishing.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
You'll be dropping lines from a 14' Tabs aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.

We booked a half day morning fishing trip at short notice. The boat is open (eg no shelter) but weather was good so this was fine. Gaz was a good guide and very patient with my son, especially when his line got snagged. In the end, we caught 2 mangrove jacks, one 36 cm so will be dinner. We also caught a grass emporer. Gaz gutted and scaled our fish so we can cook it at our airbnb.

thanks Alexis it was my pleasure.
