- Background
- In the spring of 2018, Captain Brian was headed to Montana to attend a fly fishing guide school. He learned drift boat rowing on the Big Horn River and he had jet boat training. He learned about water safety, fly tying, casting sight fishing and knowledge from the senior instructors. He earned his guide certificate, first aid, and CPR training before returning home. All the while, Captain Brian had his eye on a Parker 1801 CC. Since 2018, each season he had well over a hundred trips with close friends and anglers on the "Betty Anne". He dialed in fly selections, line types, knot connections, lures, and equipment, while also taking friends and family on the water practicing his guiding skills and boat handling. Captain Brian could be seen at his internship with a local fly shop to stay immersed in the sport for the 2018 off-season. He continues his education for maintenance, equipment, clothing, fly selections, institutional knowledge, and fly tying. which helps him to further advance.
- Techniques
- Inland fly fishing and light tackle trips. You will be casting to the fish with coaching and instruction great for all levels of anglers. RPS Fishing caters to up to 3 gear spin anglers or two fly casters for a trip.
