Patriot – Summer Season

Mike Jensen and his team will do everything to make your stay on the water full of fun and excitement, so join them aboard and have a fishing trip of a lifetime!

Capt. Mike's powerhouse of a boat is a 72' offshore sport fisher that can safely take 70 guests. Powered by twin 750 HP John Deere engines and rigged with GPS, VHF radio, and radar technology, the boat will take you to the fishing grounds in no time. It has a private toilet, kitchen, and refrigerator, and also comes equipped with a live well (bait tank) to provide you with as much live bait as needed.

On your adventure, you'll be searching offshore waters and flats for California Sheephead, Yellowtail Amberjack, Pacific Barracuda, Sculpin, Rockfish, Calico Bass, Halibut, and Bonito. To attract your targets, you can use light and heavy tackle, as you try trolling, bottom fishing, deep sea fishing, spinning, jigging, and even kite fishing. Keeping your catch is allowed and kids are also welcome to join aboard.

You'll need your own fishing equipment for your trip or you can rent it – the crew offers rods for $22 per person and tackle set-up for $18–$20 per person. You can also get a CA fishing license for $20.26, take advantage of the fish filleting service ($2-$5 per fish depending on the size), as well as gunny sacks for $3 each. Recommended 20% gratuity for the crew based off ticket price and galley tab.

Galley on board: No coolers, outside alcohol, or glass permitted on board. We recommend a backpack for any non-perishable food, and non-alcoholic drinks if you choose. Cash only on board.
