Predator Bowfishing welcomes you to the stunning waters of Lafitte. Captain Matt will be your guide, offering years of professional experience.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Alligator Gar, Redfish, Catfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, and who knows what else! You'll target your catch by bowfishing. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that's dinner!
You'll be dropping lines from a 20' Airboat with space for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Bowfishing gear is included. Predator Bowfishing is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary. Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
A few items to bring include snacks, sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

We met Matt at the marina and he was instantly cracking jokes and having a good time getting our group fired up for the trip. Once we were out there, he showed us the ropes and then let us get after it. It was the perfect amount of support and trash talk from Matt and every time we’d get one Matt would be just as hype if not more hype than us. Matt was the best and our whole group will 100% be going back.
First time bow fishing and it was awesome! Captain Matt brought the good energy and we shot some Gar and Redfish. He’s got a super cool boat too. Highly recommend booking!
It was a very action-packed fishing trip! Matt was a very good teacher and very patient with us being amateurs. He helped us develop the skills to actually catch fish! I highly recommend this.
First time Bowfishing was awesome, taught us how to shoot efficiently before we got started. Matt has some badass spots & boat. Everyone went straight to work hunting down every fish in sight one by one stacking it up 👍
