The owner and operator, Captain Zach Adler, will meet you on the McKenzie River and greet you with a smile. Once you step aboard his drift boat and take your seat, you’ll be hooked – immersed in the beauty of old-growth forests that surround you, the excitement of the next tug on your line, and the relaxing rock of the river’s babbling flow beneath the boat. You’ll fish from a 17’ Pavati drift boat that can safely take up to 3 anglers. The boat was made in 2016 and will provide a steady ride to the fishing spots.
You and Captain Zach will be searching for Cutthroat and Rainbow Trout. Using light tackle, you can spin, fly fish, and drift to attract your prey. You can keep the hatchery wish, while all the wild fish has to be released.
Before you come aboard, bring your fishing licenses, snacks, and drinks. The captain takes care of all the equipment and also offers catch cleaning and filleting at the end of the trip.
