Our 6.1 m Australian Master Marine is the perfect vessel for taking you out on the area's remarkable rivers and coastal creeks, thanks to its 250 HP outboard engine and cutting-edge navigational equipment. Through the LiveScope, we are able to detect fish and check their movement. Accommodating up to four passengers comfortably, it is sure to provide an excellent adventure.
We offer barramundi or reef fishing. Barramundi fishing is prioritized when conditions allow; Our experienced fishing guides are always more than happy to share their knowledge on the best places to catch Barramundi. Otherwise, reef fishing with bait is offered.
All you have to bring is your own sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses - and don't forget to bring your own beer if you wish! You will have access to top-notch light tackle and a variety of lures. Once you have successfully reeled in your catch, your guide will be happy to clean and fillet your fish to bring home.

It is EXACTLY as advertised but the captain made it for us. So helpful, considerate and extremely patient. We took 5 different species back home for the BBQ which were all prepared on the boat. A family memory we will have for a very long time. Thank you!!

Floran from Barra Private Tours was knowledgeble, on time, well equiped and super passionate to make it a great experience for myself and my 2 teenage sons. We all hooked fish and got a 66cm Barra keeper as well, even though its low season for Barra. All super pumped and great to have for lunch. I'd highly recommend Floran and Barra Private Tours.

The skipper took us out to a few spots in the harbour and we were on all morning! He was great with my son, giving him some tips and pointers and baiting his hooks whenever he needed. We still enjoyed the day out on the water, looking at the croc trap and saw beautiful birds , including the jabiru We will come back in Oct and fish the billabong with Floran 👍

Floran was super knowledgeable with the fishing location and local knowledge for the day. The trip was planned in the dry season so conditions were hard for the bigger Barra but we still walked away catching 29 Barra 2 Saratoga and 3 catfish with a blistering pace on the morning bite including a triple hook up with us encouraging Floran to get in on the action also. Plenty of wildlife was seen on the Mary river with photo ops of large crocodile, buffalo, native birds and amazing landscapes.

Flo was on time, very accommodating and always helpful,…fantastic skipper. Even though we didn’t have any success with Barra, he showed us what to do and how to do it…hopefully better luck next time. We then went reef fishing and bagged out on red snapper. He kept moving us around to get different spots to get species which was great, Cooked some of the snapper last night and it was superb. Thank you for a fabulous day Flo,,,much appreciated by us all !

Had a great 4hr trip with Tom. Unfortunately didn’t manage to land any fish, but saw some amazing queenies, barra, rays, a small shark and even a croc! My 10yo daughter broke her arm a few days before the trip, but Tom helped her and had her casting and enjoying the trip! Would definitely recommend!
